I come from a middle class family from Bombay, the city of seven islands, which lies on the western coast of India.

I was born and spent the first few years of my life at our ancestral house at the mohammad ali road, more specifically, memon mohalla. Then we shifted to kurla where I spent my life till I came to the united states.

My first teacher, was my mom, of course, and my best teacher ever. My first school was magpherns, at dhobi talao where I went for my kindergarten education. My schooling upto the tenth grade was at the Kalina Education Society’s Hans Bhugra High School, in Kalina. I went to Mithibai College for my high school and did my engineering from the Fr. C. Rodrigues Institute of Technology, Vashi.
