| UBC Marketing Association 1999/2000 |
| Welcome! The
UBC Marketing Association (UBCMA) is a non-profit organization operated
by creative, committed, and career-driven students from the University
of British Columbia Commerce faculty. The theme for our 1999/ 2000
year is "Marketing MATTERS". As in previous years, MA continues to
cultivate a unique relationship between all its members as well as
industry professionals. This is achieved via new professional, yet
creative and fun initiatives. The executive team has already planned
Marketing Gateways, BCAMA events, Days in Firms, Seminars, Fundraisers,
and Social Events. And, like our creative legacy before us, we will
launch totally fresh ideas such as the Focus of the Month, Info sessions,
Alumni Nights, Job Net on-line, even a Karaoke Kontest, and whatever
else members want!
