| Meet the Newman Club |
| Exec Committee of 2003/2004 Advisor: Fr Jim President: Marianel Coolen Nelly is a UBC student, majoring in Political Science with a minor in International Studies. She decided to become a part of the Newman Club because sharing her faith with other people makes her feel complete, and the club is fun! Her interests include singing, dancing salsa, and languages. A random fact about Nelly is that she is half Guatemalan & half Dutch, and she loves chocolate! Vice President: Anna Marie Treasurer: Goh-eun Marianne Kim Marianne is in her second year at UBC, majoring in Physics/Astronomy. She chose to be a part of the Newman Club because it builds up a community of faith and love. She likes to swim and bike and she lives in White Rock, where there's a beautiful beach. Social Coordinator: Anthony de Guzman Anthony is a Corpus Christi student, majoring in Arts and hopefully Math. His interests include bartending and music, and his random facts are that he's a bartender looking for a job and priesthood was meant for him. In his own words, Anthony is part of the club because "I feel that in university we need a community with a positive outreach and do activities which bring people happily together", which is why he is the social coordinator! * Interested in joining the Newman Club?
