Pledge Meetings

Pledge meetings are held every Wednesday at the house. Every meeting begins at 7 pm promptly. Pledge class meetings will also occur at a time specified by the pledge president. These are separate meetings. The pledge class meeting shall discuss business pertinent to the pledges. The Wednesday night pledge meetings (run by the Magister and Assistant-Magisters) will pertain to pledge education.

If, for whatever reason you are not able to attend any of the meetings, or cannot bring the required items to meeting, you must notify your Magister (or an Assistant-Magister) 48 hours prior to the meeting.

Items to be brought to every meeting: -Shirt and tie, or appropriate clothing for the Pledge Pin to be worn -Norman Shield -Pen and paper -Interviews -Pledge Pin -Links

The Pledge Pin/Button is to be worn by pledges at all times when suitably dressed. With a suit or sport coat, it is worn on the lapel, in the buttonhole of the left lapel or as close thereto as is practical. When a coat is not worn it is placed on the left side of the shirt front, between the pocket and buttonhole and generally over the heart. It is not to be worn tilted or at an angle, and is not worn on a “T-shirt,” sweatshirt or other non-collared shirts. It may be worn on a pullover-type sweater.
