Truth
A Vampire Chronicles Fic I took all of Anne’s ideas into consideration when I wrote it.

AN: the italicized parts if my italics work are bits of stories read or written during this short course of events I am thinking of making a sequel to this but my tastes have become so erratic that I do not know if I can with out making them do what they cannot as Vamipres.... also, if any of the story fragments in this story intrest you please say so in a review, I might make the stories into real stories))

The night was black, the stars and moon were gone from the lonely sky. A young woman ran through the dark forest, fear in her eyes.

“Louis MUST you be so depressing?” the tall, Arian vampire asked reading over the shoulder of his handsome, dark haired companion “mortals don’t want a story that will depress them, they want excitement!”
“Lestat” the other vampire hissed, once again annoyed at his maker and lover’s insistence on giving him writing advice. He was published as well, even though his works weren’t giving away secrets that had been locked away for many millennia, he liked to stick to fictional occurrences not real ones. “Would you pleleavleave me to my works and go back to looking for your self on the dammed computer?”
“Louis you wound me!” Lestat placed his hand over his silent heart in mock indignity, “I am not self obsessed enough to be looking for my self on an adult site. I happen to be looking for you”
“Looking for me?” he said “on an adult fan-site? I don’t know whether to be flattered or disgusted.”
Lestat started walking to his computer, his gait more of a saunter “I think both, some of these fics are offensive, things that are impossible for vampires the only thing in them. Others are absolutely titillating” he turned and faced his friend and lover “you know we are the most common coupling in all of these stories? Some of them make me wish you were still mortal”
“That I was still mortal?” he looked at Lestat puzzled “what are you reading on that thing?” the younger vampire stood and walked to the computer as well.
Lestat stopped him, a devilish grin on his face “I’m not sure that you’d enjoy this type of story it’s to… pleasing, or at least too erotic for you.”
“Let me be the judge of that will you Lestat?” he grinned slightly at his maker “I do at times enjoy a good fan-fiction”
Lestat smirked, one fang slightly exposed, and gestured to the seat in front of the computer “then sit, read, I think you may find the fiction I was reading… interesting to say the least.”
The younger vampire looked knowingly at his maker then dow down reading the words on the screen.

Lestat stood over the young mortal, this man that haunted his every waking moment. His obsession was his at last.
The scent of mortal arousal was heavy in the air, his obsession wanted him as well, and he wanted him in that way that only mortals could want. It would be easy to take him now, to make this mortal his forever, just take his neck in his fangs, however, he wanted to give this mortal what he wanted, he wanted to pleasure him. The desire to taste his seed was stronger then to desire to taste his blood, the desire to give instead of take was strong this time. He had never wanted a mortal like this, not since he had been mortal him self many centuries ago.

“It raises the blood lust doesn’t it?” Lestat whispered into his lover’s ear.
“If I didn’t know you better Lestat, I’d say that it’s not blood you lust for” Louis turned his head back to look at his maker only to be caught up by his mouth. The Arian vampire caught his fang on his lover’s tongue and tasted his blood. Louis stood, still keeping in the kiss, puncturing Lestat’s tongue while moving to get deeper into it. Soon, the wounds healed and the pair separated, one breathing heavily the other not breathing at all. “Lestat!” Louis panted holding his maker at an arms length “what are you doing?”
Lestat moved the arms of the half-protesting vampire he still considered his fledging “shh mon amour, I would never hurt you”
Louis pulled away, wary of his makers intimate embrace “no, you would never hurt me deliberately Lestat, but I know when you act this way, that your planning to leave me again.” he turned his back to Lestat, not wanting him to see the sorrow that he felt with his departure imminent. He knew that he wasn’t Lestat’s only lover, not his only fledging, but he always felt pain when he left him for the others, he always felt inadequate. After centuries of life and centuries of love, he knew he would never be the only one, he knew that he would never be Lestat’s only love, but he wished that his partings would be less painful, less intimate.
Lestat placed his hands on Louis’s shoulders and moved them down his arms, “how can you be so sure that I will leave you mon amour?” he whispered into his ear moving his lips to his neck nibbling lightly at the flesh “how can you be positive that I will hurt you?”
Louis shook his head and moved away from his maker he didn’t want to suffer again. the time between each visit was getting shorter but every moment apart was like a knife to his immortal flesh, painful but survivable. Lestat wondered why he was always so depressed but he never needed to look further then himself for the source of sadness. Every time he touched him he knew that he would hurt, but every time he didn’t he felt alone. “Lestat, please, if your planning to leave, just do it” he looked at him blood tears welling in his eyes “don’t toy with me, it hurts to much”
Lestat looked at his lover he never knew he had hurt him this much; he knew that Louis was always depressed but he never knew that he was the source of his pain. “Louis… I never knew I had hurt you this deeply,” he embraced him to comfort him kissing his tears away, “I never knew.”
“It’s not your fault Lestat, it’s in your nature to explore new things. When someone becomes comfortable you leave to find a new thing. I take comfort in the fact that you always return, that when the lifestyle of the lonely wanderer takes its toll, it’s me that you come back to.” He pulled back and kissed his maker gently, showing him that he was ok with his decision “when you are happy, that is when I find joy.”
Lestat looked at him every decision he had ever made changing, everything he had ever done haunting him. “Louis if I had but known...”
Louis stopped his words with his finger, “Shh... Lestat if you had known you would of stopped. You’d never be happy living like me, I know this now and I understand it.”
Lestat kissed Louis deeply, this time not breaking skin. He pulled back and looked at him sorrow in his eyes, “you know I can’t stay, but you accept it as fully as you accept my love when I return. I do not deserve one such as you, even though I forced you into this life you do not like you still love me.”
“Yes Lestat, I will always love you but, I will always know that you will leave me, if not soon then in a few years. It is our fate and it is one I have accepted.” Louis kissed him lightly then pulled out of his embrace, “now you must go, go to make others happy, go to live your eternal years in the manner you wish to live them, but come back Lestat when the world ceases to be new, come back when you are ready to love with me again.”
Lestat looked at him for a moment realizing fully now that what he wanted was what Louis wanted for him, “I’ll come back soon to you Louis, sooner perhaps then ever before. I now realize how much I love you.” With those words Lestat left, his immortal speed unrecognizable to a human eye but perceived by Louis who went back to his story revising it.
