About Me
< ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------->
Ted was born at a very early age within spitting distance of the famed Sydney Tar Ponds. A child blessed with a dominant mutant geek gene, he started reading before the age of 3 years; by the age of four, Ted had read every volume of his father’s encyclopaedia cover to cover. Within a fortnight of starting school, Ted had firmly established himself as “the different kid”.

In later years, he sequentially discovered amateur and CB radio, electronics, philately and finally computers. Ted purchased his first computer (a TI-994A) at the age of twelve and compromised his first network at the age of fifteen. Shortly thereafter, it was determined that Ted didn’t just think outside the box, he didn’t even know there was a box.

After graduating from the Sydney Academy University Prep programme at the age of 18, Ted worked at odd jobs over the next few years, successfully eluding the local constabulary until entering Federal Service at the age of 20. Over the next twelve years, Ted established himself as an exceptionally dedicated worker and a premier digital signal analyst.

Finally, after relinquishing his eye teeth and first born, Ted was transferred to the Information Protection Cell of a major government department. After just four months on the job, Ted had the title of “Big Giant Head” (en français - “Tête de Melon d’Eau”) conferred upon him by his co-workers as the result of his mentoring efforts, InfoSec expertise and of course, the fact that his brain is hung like a horse.

Ted’s most recent achievment is having been voted “Best Looking Man in a Kilt” by the woman’s auxilliary of the CNIB. As of this writing, Ted continues to stalk Grues in defence of the government’s networks and use his “unique” sense of humour to entertain his peers - most of whom have been quick to note that Ted just doesn’t march to the beat of a different drummer, he has his own drum corps.

Ted currently resides in the National Capital Region with his two cats, the voices in his head and of course, a case of Keith’s.
