| * The East Visayas Jurisdiction Christian Youth Fellowship Execom held its 4th Regular meeting at the Center for Women and Children UCCP Dulag, San Vicente, dulag Leyte. the activity was attended by 7 Execom members from different conferences of the East Visayas Jurisdiction. The Local CYF of Dulag spearheaded by Arvin Costob also participated in the said event.
* We are proud to say that five CYFers from our Conference, the North-Eastern Leyte Conference, were elected officers of the EVJ CYF, the three came from our very own local church. They are:Joy Ann Petronio, EVJ Secretary; Lemuel Petronio, EVJ Auditor and Cherrie Ruth Vacal, CWS Chairperson. "PADAYON CYF!" * Efren Genotiva, an active Dulag church member was sent to study Masters in Divinity at Silliman University. Efren started as a Sunday schooler, became a Sunday school teacher and an active CYFer. He never fail to support the church's major activities, he joined the choir and eventually became the assistant choir director of Sarah Palaña. He directed plays, musical dramas and stuff like that for the church. Those things were not enough for him because he was called for God's Ministry. Thanks to all who supported and are still supporting him financially & spiritually. May God bless you more for your kindness... * Vacation Church School (VCS) are still being held every summer in two Barangays. 1 week in Rawis, Dulag and 1 week in Bonifacio, Mayorga. This challenging but fulfilling program of the church is conducted by our very active young people who are trained to teach. After a week of learning songs and life-giving lessons about the Bible, the children prepare presentations of songs, bible verses and stories that they have learned during the classes in the closing programs. Gifts and snacks are given to the participants, parents and other visitors. May the good Lord continue to bless evryone to continue this ministry. * Center for Women & Children (CWC) and Child Development Center (CDC) are Dulag UCCP's major chuch programs... * Pastor Mylene Kadusale was ordained as Rev. by Bishop Pia Rose during the conference assembly in Dulag UCCP... * Summer Youth Camp with the theme, "Building God's Character in Me" was hosted by the Dulag UCCP last May 2007. This activity was participated by more than a hundred CYFers from different local churches of the North Eastern Leyte Conference led by the NCYF President John Cris Fabi and the NELCON Execom and Camp staff. Acitivities included, BTR on the theme, CYF Orientation, Talents' Night, Banquet Night, Team building, Sports unlimited, etc... This said activity was a fun and memorable experience to the youth that participated. * Dulag UCCP celebrated its 80th Church Anniversary last May 20, 2007. The theme of this year's celebration was "We have come this far by faith". The activity started with a worship service at the sanctuary with testimonies from the presidents of the CYF, UCM and CWA. the history of the Dulag UCCP that was written by Elder Juanita Genotiva (who was a Chairperson for many years) during the 50th anniversary was reread by her grandson Efren Genotiva. The youth also presented a musical play which was part of the service. Part also of the worship was an agape meal which was continued at the beach. After the agape meal, there were games and giving of gifts from sponsors, hosted by Arvin Costob and Joy Ann Petronio. There were also visitors present in the said activity. The celebration of the 80th founding anniversary of the UCCP Dulag was a fun and memorable one!
