As this is the first newsletter of the year, I would like to touch base on our activities so far this year.
If you missed the January meeting you missed a lot! Diane Ensign's presentation on Lincoln was fantastic.
The turnout for the February meeting was fantastic. We started planning for Civil War Days, and had two really good book reports. Kevin Litster was appointed the UCWA recruiter, and did a fantastic job at the movies.
If you missed the Gods and Generals movie nights you missed out. Both nights boasted over thirty participants from the UCWA. This was a great recruiting time for the group.
I want to extend a thank you to Mike Moon, Ralph Bryson, and everyone who showed up and helped out, With out you this would not have gone so well.
The March meeting will be held on the 8th. We will continue Civil War Days planning, and book reports.
I would like to give a get well to Diane Ensign who had knee surgery on the 27th.
