I showed off some of the "old Iron"  that I've used now it's time to let you see some of the fastest machines ever made to date. The CRAY was one of the first supercomputers.  Named after Seymour Cray, of course
Here's the CRAY XMP and it looks this way to shorten wiring length as the clock speed was so high. The power supplies are in the base and were designed so that they could be used as loveseats. <g>. It was liquid cooled and had large heat exchangers outside of the building. It is slow by todays  ultra computer standards and It produced about 160 million operations per second.
