CHRISTIAN SIN
Actually, christian sin is not as terrible of a topic as one might think right off.
The primary thing we expect ,being born of God, is that we do not practice sin. When John wrote in his letter useing the words "committeth" and "sinneth" in reference to what we dont do if we are born of him, those words in the greek refer to "practice" like what we did before we became God conscious from within. Before God lives in you, you can have a moral conscience, but not be changed. After God becomes one with your spirit, you become more than morally conscience, by the consciousness of the reality of God made real to you.
Having a born again conscience, you have a new nature in your spirit, which will try to battle against the mind. There are things written in the bible so that you will not sin, but it makes no proof that you will not experience sin. By your new nature, you can not continue in sin without your spirit being disatisfied. Because you are a saved spirit in a body of sin, you may find yourself experiencing sin now and then. That is different from sin done prior to new birth. Before, you did it by nature, now you may experience it because you permitted the old nature to have it's way, but it wasn't you, it was sin in your body. You are no longer the old body, yet you must live in it. It's like having to stay at a job or live in a neighborhood that you hate, and can do nothing about it; Except, there is something you can do! Continue to rise up out of it, by reading the bible, praying, fellowshipping with others, praising God; All the things that make your spirit dominate over your flesh.
Because you are a new creature, it is now your nature to be victorious; It is part of what and who you are to supernaturally rise above the flesh.
Jesus is your defense lawyer if you happen to fall into sin.
The worst sins though, are called " besetting sins" where christians love to hear and pass around sayings and teachings and doctrines that seem to be doctrinally sound, but are flesh, put together by the human mind using Gods word.
This, my friends, is what a major part of my website refers to. You will understand, if you genuinly let the Holy Ghost teach you, when you read my words. But! If all you want to do is hold onto your old doctrines and teachings and sayings, contrary to what I expose, then God himself can not make you see, for he has created you with freewill, and you can continue to greive the Spirit and reject his prophet, and miss some of the powerful revelations I bring forth in this web site.
But about regular sins, there is no sin that you shall encounter that God has not provided a way of escape. You can get out of it, you can learn to prevent it, and you can trust in the mercy and grace of God to give you his peace that he loves you just the same when you fell into sin, as he did when you were out.
Lets just not let the sin of unforgivness ever stay in us Amen?
If you happen to fall into a sin, you did not fall from grace, you got more grace. You fall from grace when you think you are right with God by your good works. Contrary to what some think; If you depend on your ability to never sin as the reason you are not fallen from grace, you have fallen from grace.
And you are not victorious just because you obey, or overcame sin, you are victorious because you fully trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ who bought for us the victory with his blood and resurection.
Your victory becomes more obvious and enjoyable the more you learn to walk in the Spirit, and to be led by the Spirit, realizing that the only good you do is that which is by the Spirit; Everything else is just flesh, no matter how good it may look.
There is plenty of scripture describing for us what sin is, what the works of the flesh are and things that you can not do if you want to make it into heaven; But the main thing I am called to minister, is things that settle Faith.
Some try to present "sanctification" as another thing of 'works' .
In 1st Corinthians 1:29-31 It says " That no flesh should glory in his presence.
But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:
That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord."
Scripture is not given for the purpose of condemning you, but to instruct you.
At the same time when we are convinced by the Spirit to be zealous and repent; Also, we hear Jesus say, be anxious for nothing; We get a mixture of holy fire and holy calm; This is the way it is when you are born of Gods Spirit.
If you are in Christ, you should see and agree with this as you read, and be at peace in the fear of God. While full of purpose and free from fear.
For those who truely fear God are free from fear.
This know and understand, though, Never take the grace of God lightly, and think "I can just do as I please and repent". Jesus cast out devils and said go and sin no more lest a worse thing come upon you. I have personally had to drive out devils from people who had been claiming the name of Jesus for many many years, but; to whom you submit yourself to the same you are a servant of. Like Jesus said in John 8:34 "Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin" and Luke 11:22 "But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he taketh from him all his armor wherein he trusted, and devideth his spoils." This is prophetic of what happens to a person who becomes demon possessed because of continuing in sin after coming to Jesus.
If you received the Holy Ghost, your spirit and Gods Spirit are one; You are holy in spirit; It is your new nature to live holy; For this reason, God permits spiritual punishment from spirits if you will not fear him and obey righteousness; holiness is now posible through the Spirit; Be ye holy, for God in you is holy.
If you cannot stop sinning, you may need to go to a Holy Ghost filled minister of the Gospel, who is free from sin, and who is practiced in casting out devils; And get yourself free. You may just need a very heavy dose of the fear of the Lord; God will judge every thing we think say and do. Because of sin, the wrath of God comes; be serious and repent.
Then! after that; Abide in Jesus word, continue in His word, obey the gospel. You can, and you will have great joy.
