President Ali G's foreign policy is complicated as he tries to balance relationships between neo-imperialistic nations and developing states. Right, one sees Ali G on a goodwill tour of England and Scotland. While the trip was fruitful for the first week of his stay, his final days in England had a souring turn. As Queen Elizabeth II of England met with Ali G, she kindly moved to his ear and whispered a polite phrase which Ali G completely misinterpreted. The Queen informed Ali G, "your Manama has a tag" (referring to President Ali G's Manama designer suit from the Asian emirate of Brunei which still had a price tag attached). President Ali G thought the Queen had said "your mamma is a slag". He stepped away from her and said, "yeah? well da queen motha got around in her day too, innit?" The Queen didn't understand what the Ugandan president had said, but then as the queen mother walked past, he proceeded to "bust a cap in her ass" (pictured right), to which he later apologized, once realizing his mistake, which he attributed to the difficulty of comprehending the British accent. Relations with England and Scotland remain strained |
