Since UGC-Academic Staff College, University of Calcutta, began its journey on October 08, 1990, it has persistently engaged itself in organizing increasing number of Orientation Programs, Refresher Courses, seminars and Workshop with the objectives of helping the teachers discharge their professional commitments more effectively. Our functions have got a new dimension in the wake of the decision to make participation in these programs mandatory for the purpose of career advancement of teachers.
