Some recent photographs I took at the Jama Masjid, Delhi.

There's a small anecdote about that trip: I badly wanted to photograph the overwhelming beauty but in my eagerness had forgotten that one must not bare ones legs in a mosque. I turned up in shorts only to be refused entry by the gentleman at the gate ! I was almost resigned to the idea of going back without the photos when a kind gent coming out the door told me "They rent out lungees, why dont you get one for yourself ?".

I actually did just that ... twenty rupees for a dirty blue and red checked lungee which the gateman probably wears at night ! At least I didn't let Awadhesh or Ritwik get my photo ! (Here they are relaxing by the water tank, the water was refreshing in that heat.)
