Overall Grade

The fans start begin to panic, because we are losing too many home games, but a national championship even if it is with someone elses recruits forgives all.

1997 - 1998

Nine losses is way too many for Kentucky.  But even with a bad regular season.  Tubby still manages to win the SEC title and make it to the elite 8.

1998 - 1999

10 losses in the regular season.  Had to share regular season SEC title because of four losses. Out in first round of SEC tournament and second round of NCAA tournament.

1999 - 2000

Yet another 10 loss season.  We did manage to win the SEC tournament and make it to the sweet 16 in the NCAA tournament.

2000 - 2001

Team Turmoil, need I say more.

2001 - 2002

The best team Tubby has put together so far.  Undefetated in the SEC.  A Bogan's injury ended our NCAA championship hopes.

2002 - 2003

Not a bad win loss record.  Won SEC tournament.  But lost in the second round of NCAA to a not so good UAB team.

2003 - 2004

Once again not a bad regular season.  Lost to Florida in the Final of SEC tournament. And a double overtime loss to Michigan State kept us out of the Final Four.

2004 - 2005

13 loosses all together.  A number 8 seed in the NCAA tourney, and a second round exit. "TEAM TURMOIL THE SEQUAL.

2005 - 2006

Ten loss seasons - 4 - 44.4% of the time. Final Fours - 1 -only 12.5% of seasons ended in Final fours and that one was with someone elses players. Losses to unranked teams - 33 - 11.3% of all our games have been lost to unranked teams under Tubby.
