Preparation
Saturday afternoon was spent wiring in the cameras and transporting the video equipment from Wes's to Ben's in a wheelbarrow! After 4 trips back and fourth, we managed to get just about everything we needed . That evening was spent soldering conections and wiring in cameras.
Big Benny himself was busying in preparing the house before the housemates arrive Sunday afternoon. We hope to have the cameras and mics all wired up by tomorrow afternoon. Our final task was to go shopping for the housemates. A trip to our local retailer with a food adviser proved fruitfull as Wes and Ben filled 2 trollies and found thay they were still within budget! The housemates now have enoiugh food to last them most of the week.
We are going to try and improve the pictures of Laura and Rachel because although it will be difficult to top smiles like that we should take them in the studio so you can compare them to the other ugly mugs!
I guess the bad news is that our plans to use Real video streams have been scuppered for now. The helix encoder crashes nastily on Wes's PC so we are now looking at alternatives. Any suggestions are welcome ukbigbenny2002@yahoo.com. We are also in a rather tight spot with geocities at the moment with bandwidth! We are however, cunningly working on a solution.
Also some of our more regular visitors may have noticed a Housemate change. Yep! Scott has been replaced with our new housemate Chris Click on his name to find out about him.
