UK Trip 2005

Walked around the outside of the Cathedral taking a few pictures from angles not reproduced in every postcard on sale in the crypt, then headed for quick return visits to Hamleys and Harrods in search of certain somethings. All over London today, and all day, the number of people filling the trains, the pavement, everywhere in between, and just barrelling into everybody else, seems to have doubled since yesterday. Is there a magic moment in mid-Spring when suddenly all tourists descend on London at once, overnight, paratrooper style? Was very glad to get back to Brentford with a few goodies and aching feet, away from the long sardines game that London became today. Time for bed, well past it in fact. I have an appointment in Bromley tomorrow. Next Previous
