| The title of the being the first and oldest accumulation of Self / Selfe researchers in the world belongs to the Self Family Newsletter in the USA. This group of family descendants has been around for over 20 years, and due to their seniority and expertise, their website is recognised as the "Official" website of the Self family. Although this group has published nearly 20 pages of UK records, they are known as a strictly USA publication and website. However, in keeping with their policy of sharing with others, our pages will be receiving data from their group to help us get started. The Self Family Newsletter site is compiled of researchers who believe they are all descended from a Robert Selfe who settled in the colonies in 1653 or so, and all is orientated to such.
