It's a very long story, but i'm gonna make it short. It all started when Ranma was real little. His father took him on a training mission all across China and Japan so he could become a martial artist. Along the way Ranma made friends (Ukyou) and enemies (Ryouga). At the age of 16 Ranma and his father go to China to complete his training mission. Because Ranma's father (Genma) can't read Chinese they accidently stumble upon the Cursed Springs of Jusenkyo. Ranma knocks Genma into a cursed spring and comes out as a giant panda. P.Oed he knocks his son into the spring of the drowned girl thus Ranma 1/2! To make matters worse he has 3 fiancees who are head over heels for him.
