IATA Resolution 683 requires that all ULDs (Unit Load devices) shall be marked with the appropriate IATA Identifications Code in Accordance with IATA Specification 40/0 Marking of Unit Load Devices, 40/1 IATA Identification Code for Unit Load devices, and 40/2 Marking of Air/Surface (Intermodel) Containers in the IATA ULD Technical Manual.
