The band attended their seventh parade of the season in Donaghadee with still no uniforms, the host band the Donaghadee Fusiliers f.b. had an excellent turn out of bands with 37 in total attending. The band was quite small tonight but couldn't be helped i also had a laugh at the sick-notes following the band, one with a bad back, one with a sore finger and i dont know what was wrong with the other he still hasn't brought his note in to excuse him from walking with the band LOL...
It was a good to be parading in Donaghadee again, one of the towns the band likes parading in but it was freeeezing and it was very hard to get heat into the body.
The flute corp were again in good tune once they got the flutes going as they were freezing aswell. This would have to be the worst i have heard the drum corp after them doing well in previous parades hopefully it was just one of those nights and we will be back to normall next week. The colour party were again very smart as in marching and discipline not uniform wise as as we dont have it yet so well done to the colour party and i cant wait to see the five girls in the colour party together after the birth of on e of the colour partys baby Gren or Gren-ette. There was a good turnout of people to watch the parade which gave the parade a good atmosphere only to be marred at the end with some fighting between people who are not the sort of people we want at our parades who get a skinfull of drink and want to fight the world. All in all a very good and well run parade by DFFB and we hope to see them in Carrick in the not to distant future for our own parade.
