| The band attended their fifth parade of the season in Lisburn, the host band Pride of Knockmore got an excellent turnout of bands with a total close to 40 bands in attendance. We played well for having such a small band, we certainaly more than held our own while passing other bands, the parade route gave plenty of opportunity for blow outs. The flute corp as usual played really well, drum corp and bass drummers played well. The colour party also done well and maybe don't get the praise they that they deserve, their marching and discipline is excellent and they are a credit to themselfs and the band. When we finnaly get our new uniforms im sure the colour party will start to pick up a few trophies. |

| We got a good reception from the crowd as we were starting off and also at the end of the parade where other bandsmen where giving us plenty of support. On the subject of the crowd i have to say that it was the biggest turnout in Lisburn that i can remember for many a year. POKFB had the parade well marshalled and everything seemed to go really well, we would like to thank POKFB for hosting such a great parade and we look forward to seeing this fine band grace the streets of Carrick for our own parade in September.....UP THE SUPER GRENS!
