I'll send out an e-mail to those who are available for the introduction and ask if you wish to be a part of it. You may choose if you wish to do so or not. Then, the intro will take place. Now these mails might get confusing; there are a lot of different characters and there will most likely be several stories going at once. Also, the Storyline is the TIMELINE. The story after the one that proceeds it is hinting at the fact that your characters are already around. Also, if it says your character is going to be introduced, IT WILL BE, NO EXCEPTIONS! Now on to the questions!
Questions:
1. What sort of Role-Playing Game is this?
A. The RPG is Play by e-mail, or PBeM. Everything done in the RPG will be done through e-mail.
2. How many powers can my character and guardian spirit have?
A. Characters are allowed 1 named power, which is the summoning of their guardian spirit. Once it's summoned, then the guardian spirit has two attacks, which can be used when the summoner says. They gain a third one when they have mastered the other two attacks and their summon. This is for all guardian spirits, even if it's a second one a person owns. They must go through the same process as they did with the first guardian spirit.
3. That sounds pathetic. Can't my character do anything else?
A. Actually, yes. They will have one special ability, from weapons to telekinesis, plus their guardian spirit can do physical attacks. Also, let's try to keep those abilities to a minimum. I'd rather have unoriginal abilities than some massive attack like spells seen in Slayers. I don't mind if a person can make illusions, stop time for a brief period, but keep it small.
4. How can my guardian spirit die?
A. If they're weakened enough or mortally wounded, much like a person, they'll die.
5. How do I get another spirit guardian?
A. Master your summon and the powers of your guardian. I shall decide when this is, and then I'll let you know whether you can or not. Also, most people will start out with one power for their spirit, maybe two. This is an exception if they have more than one guardian spirit. ANYONE can gain a guardian spirit, even if they already have two or more.
6. If I have more than one guardian spirit, and I'm fighting someone with only one, am I more powerful?
A. Yes, for you can knock their spirit out of the fight, and then you'll have the weakened one and the strong one left. Or perhaps you'll have the second one left. Depends on what you make your spirit like. The only exception is a powered up Serelis, but that won't be an issue till later on in the RPG.
7. What do you mean by mortal guises when referring to the guardian spirits?
A. They have a mortal form, such as in the images showing what they look like.. I don't mean human. In their spirit form, before they're first bonded with a summoner, they're immortal. But once they're summonded, they're in their mortal guise a.k.a. able to be killed.
8. What kind of futuristic technology?
A. Seen any anime with hover cars, holograms, and other cool things like that? That be it. Be craetive in that area, I'll let ALMOST anything pass.
9. How do I get approval for another guardian spirit?
A. You e-mail me for a small personality test, to see what type of creature matches you best. Once I go through it, I'll put up the new image for your guardian spirit, and then you'll send in stuff that needs to be added to your profile! Simple, ain't it?
