Personality: He is quite the charmer and a playboy. He loves to tease and joke around. Mostly carefree yet has a secretive and serious side at times.
History: As a child, Aoi was taken to an old hermit who lives by a flaming lake. He was left there to train to become a great fighter. He does not remember why or anything else about his past due to an incident where the hermit while training him to become a great fighter, knocked him on the head. He was in a coma for four days and after he recovered, he could not remember anything about the past except that he must see Serelis. One night, he started hearing a voice (due to his four day coma most likely) in his head and he went on a bloodlust killing the hermit and everyone in the nearby village. The next day he left his bloody home and headed for the roads. On the way he met Kalaya Nirose, leader of the Meshi, who was heading back towards her palace. Seeing such a pretty woman walking past him, he couldn’t resist teasing her but Kalaya, not liking his joke one bit, lashed out with her magic causing Aoi to have to fight back. In the end, Aoi lost but he now held great respect for Kalaya who defeated him so soundly and swiftly. He asked of her if he may join her for she had truly entranced him for never has any women done so. Kalaya told him to put a sock in it and that if he wants to join he’ll have to show his commitment to the cause like all the others and his devotion to her. The next day there was a small scrimish between the Guntai and Meshi. Aoi, true to his words, showed his devotion to Kalaya by singlehandedly slaughtering ¼ of Guntai foot soldiers with his "Heavenly Shower". Aoi did not even appear disgusted by the burning of human flesh in fire as they burn from the black fire of the "Heavenly Shower". Kalaya watched it as well and with a nod of her head, Aoi was accepted as a Meshi.
Special Ability: Black fire can shoot forth from his hands and inflame another person or object.

Guardian Spirit Name: Nami
Guardian Spirit Powers: Nami can combine with the sword of Aoi and changes into a meteor shower upon the enemies called "Heavenly Shower" which looks more like raining black fire. Another power is "Tidal Storm" where a whirlpool forms under a person or object and inflames them with black fire until they incinerate. When mastered, "Tidal Storm" can be used on multiple people. *Aoi doesn’t use these attacks more than once per battle because they are very draining to cast.*
