Special Ability: Taro is a full-blown telekinetic and a minor telepath, whose powers are heightened when he plays his instrument as well. With his powers of telepathy, he can only speak to two people, his sister and Edyan, his Guardian Spirit. However, when he plays his violin or lyre, this, for some reason, opens up his mind even more, allowing him to receive bits and pieces of the thoughts of those around him.
Summon Command: “Edyan, Come!” Since Edyan is a human sorcerer who resides in Taro’s mind, he doesn’t appear with a flash and a bang like the other guardians. Rather, Edyan just appears right next to Taro in the blink of an eye. Bada bing bada boom.
Guardian Spirit Name: Edyan
Guardian Spirit Powers: *Note: No words are spoken when Edyan attacks* Edyan attacks independently of Taro’s commands only because the two of them share a mind link, which allows them to plan an attack strategy without vocal commands.
Unseeing Eye: The purple jewel on Edyan’s head flashes and a bright light lights up the area up to about 10 feet in front of them. This 10 foot radiused circle then will painfully reveal any illusions or invisible people who might otherwise wish to hurt them. When someone who is invisible or trying to hide for insidious reasons (the magic will read the intent of the person to determine), purple flames will assault him, causing massive burns. If the image is just an illusion created by someone else, then the illusion will disappear as soon as it touches the circle and the creator’s hands will be burned by the purple flames. The circle can also serve as a sort of lighting in dark areas as well as a protective shield for the group to sleep in.
Fireball: Self-explanatory, with slight variations. Edyan puts his hands out in front of him, palms outwards and red energy begins to gather in the center of his hands. Depending on the energy gathered and the way Taro wants to throw the fireball, the attack can rush towards the enemy in a wave of miniature fireballs, each dangerous in and of themselves, a massive fireball, a horizontal wave of fire, a large column of fire much like a tornado, a horizontal column of fire (like a beam of fire), or in a large flame strike which rushes up towards the heavens first, and then flies down, striking the target. Be warned, none of these attacks need any fore planning. If Edyan wants to create a massive fireball and is interrupted, he will just shoot out a medium sized one or some variant of the spell depending on the amount of energy gathered.
Guardian Spirit Appearance: Edyan is a human male who dresses in cloth and armor. His eyes are blue with a tinge of white with them, setting off a striking effect when combined with the purple jewel on top of his forhead. His white hair makes him look old when in fact it was just a result of a spell gone wrong. Of course, Edyan will never admit that so he says that his white hair came from spending too much time in the Guardian Spirit Pool. His turban also doubles as a mask for when he needs to be hidden from others and the sword he carries, though small, is perfect for throwing or just using to fight.
