As you all have probally noticed, there have been some changes with the site. My partner ShadowBlade is experimenting on some cosmetic work on the site. Personally, I think he did an awesome job with that banner, and although I'm not too crazy about having an enter page (which will take a few moments to load the image for us 56Kers), that image was done very nicly as well.
Now to non-site related news: many rumors have been going around about a new Transformers series (called Transformers: Armada) that will supposedly be launched after RiD ends (Summer of 2002). For those few of you who are just hearing about this now, the rumored plot is that characters from all over the Transformers universe, past (G1), present (BM, and possibly BW) and the alternate RiD universe will be brought together to fight the Decepticons yet again. Rumored characters in the show will be Optmums Prime, Cheetor, Rattrap, HotRod, Galvatron and Unicron, just to name a few. For much more info, I suggest you check out some of the topics on the subject in the forum.
While serious doubt is being cast upon this series, ShadowBlade recently came across what may be the first official indication that the show is actually in production: actionfigurexpress.com is actually accepting pre-orders on Armada figures.
Overall, I like the new series idea, except for the time and dimention traveling part (I cringe everytime I hear about time travel being involved in a story plot). Let's hope that if Armada is on its' way, it lives up to the quality of Beast Wars, or maybe even G1.

I can't belive it's been almost two months since either myself or ShadowBlade last posted anything here. For that I apologize, I had some trouble with my net connection, it's been a while since I actually have been able to log onto the internet. I'll try to get some much needed site updates done soon if time allows. Now, for some Transformer news:
For those of you who collect, but havn't stoped by BigBadToyStore.com, you might want to check it out now. They're accepting pre-orders on a second re-release of the original Optimus Prime toy, and also they've got a Mega Optimus Prime PVC set available to pre-order. The RE-issue Prime is exactly the same as the oringal and previous re-release, except the windows on his chest are tinted blue, and the PVC Prime actually comes with 2 Prime figures, a replica of the Matrix, and interchangable hands holding items such as his blaster rifle, Megatron in his gun mode, and even his laser ax (which replaces his right hand). They've also got a black version of Power Master Optimus Prime there too, plus an impressive collection of re-issue G1 Transformers.

A few days ago I got an E-mail from a Peter Ferguson. He's starting a petition to help Pat Lee of Dreamwave Productions (www.dreamwaveprod.com) to get the rights from Hasbro to start a new Generation 1 comic book series. As of the time I posted this news article on this site, they had 25 signitures (including myself, I'm #16).
To see a copy of the E-mail that he sent me (and several other Transformer fan site webmasters), click here, and to sign and view the petition, go to http://www.petitiononline.com/DWTF/petition.html.

Well, only five days until Robots in Diguise debuts on FOX 29, and I can't wait. One thing I should have told everyone is to check your local TV listings to see exactly when the show will be on in your area, since local television stations will sometimes air shows later then their initial nation wide airing.
Well, the RiD toy should be out in full force now. I got an E-mail from someone saying that these toys are a bit cheaper at stores such as Target and Walmart (specifically, he said that Megatron was $19.99 compared to Toys'R'Us's $24.99 price tag), so you might want to start your toy hunting there first.
Onto a more serious matter, I've recieved some rather odd E-mails that came with attachments over the past few months. While I had the sense not to open the enclosed programs, I am a bit embarrased to say that I didn't reconize the E-mails as virus carriers. Apparently someone has Dinobot@Transformersonline.com listed in their E-mail program, or someone has me targeted and is trying to infect my home computer with a virus. I'm not doing this to embarras anyone, but if you're reading this, and you have Dinobot@transformersonline.com on your E-mail list, you might have a virus on your computer. It's gotten into your E-mail program and sent copies of itself to everyone on your list. If you've gotten any E-mails from an hahaha@sexyfun.net, you might want to check out this site: www.sexyfun.net (I swear to you THIS SITE IS NOTHING LIKE THE ADDRESS SUGGESTS). It has important information about this particular E-mail virus.

I apologize for the lack of any kind of update within the past few weeks, but things have been pretty hectic for me, especially now that it's the end of my college quarter, and I have to have several projects ready to turn in this week and next.
Anyway, for those of you who still don't know (I don't see how you can't, it's old news elswhere on the internet), Transformers: Robots in Disguise is schedualed to begin its' run on September 8th. Acording to rumors I heard, the show will be on 6 days a week, but at poor times (2 PM weekdays, and 8 AM Saturdays). With my ever changing college schedual, and the fact that I will hopefully be employed once again come September, I like many of you will not be able to catch the show when it airs, thus my VCR will be getting quite a bit of use taping it.
Also, thanks to an E-mail got some time ago (sorry I didn't get around to posting this a lot sooner), I've learned that the RiD toys can also be found in videogame stores such as Electronic Boutiques or Babbages. If you STILL can't find any at local toy stores you might want to check these places out.

  • 8/9/2001: -ShadowBlade
Just a small post. Transformers the movie turns 15 today. Perhaps this means it will start taking an interest in girls. :) head over to vectorsigma.net for some intersting tid-bits about our favorite bots motion picture career.

  • 7/29/2001: -Dinobot
Got a new poll up, this one should be a lot more interesting then the last one. Robots in Disguise toys continue to enter stores and become available at online stores as well. You can now order both Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus at KBKids.com, and amazon.com has preorders for some of the figures, including the trains (I think).
Anyway, I've had people asking me this for a while, and Darrell tells me that the main TransformersOnline.com site will return at the same time that Robots in Disguise airs, if all goes acording to plan.

  • 7/21/2001: -ShadowBlade
    I'M BAAAACK!!!!

THAT'S RIGHT! THE BLADE IS BACK IN TOWN!
I just found me a 9-5 job so I will now have all this free time on my hands. And since my girlfriend is still working crazy shifts I will need some place spend my free time. Some of this will be spent on my forum group shot I am brainstorming, so if you got ideas on what you wanna look like, check my post in the forum. Note that you may not get your whole wish as I have most of it planned in my head already, I will be sure to incorporate some aspect of your idea.

Well later all, and hope to see you all in the chat room on sunday.

  • 7/11/2001: -Dinobot
Robots in Disguise update: I have head rumors of the RiD toys being spotted at online auctions and in various stores, and now it appears that KBToys now has them available for sale, both at their website (www.kbkids.com) and at their stores. They currently have three two pack sets available (which come with 2 basic Autobots) available, and also 6 mode Megatron (which I think was the Japanese Gigatron toy from CarRobots).
Also, in other toy related news, amazon.com has Supreme Cheetor for sale with free shipping for only $10! Now, since I don't collect Beast Machine toys, I have no idea what Supreme Cheetor is like, but it seems to me that amazon.com is desparate to get rid of him. You might also be able to find Supreme Cheetor on sale in Toys'R'Us stores for this price too, since Toys'R'Us is partnered with amazon.com, and I did find Optimal Optimus on sale in the store while amazon.com had him available for the same price.

  • 6/20/2001: -Dinobot
As you can tell when checking out the poll, I've put up a new poll, although it really doesn't have anything to do with Transformers. This one asks what pixel size you're running your computer at (if you're not sure, Windows users can right click on their desktops, scroll down to properties, and click the 'settings' tab of the display properties menu that just opened).
The reason I want to know is for when I do finally get to making that new layout that I've been wanting to do for a while.
Also, I'll be re-opening ShadowBlades's fanart section soon, and since the 'Blade isn't here to run it, I'll be doing that for him until his return. You can still send art to the address that he used, transartnews@hotmail.com. Please do not send your art to my Transformersonline address, since ShadowBlade encountered problems with recieving images with his address before. And as always, I'm looking for new news articles to post here. These can either be sent to the address I mentioned before, or to my address here at the site.

  • 6/12/2001: -Dinobot
For those of you who want to find out more about the new upcoming Transformers series in the U.S., 'Robots In Disguise', you might be interested to know that Bob Skir now has a Robots in Disguise FAQ page at his site. At the moment, there's only two questions answered there, but it maybe expanded in the near future.
Bob Skir, for those of you who don't know, is the guy guilty... er... responcible for bringing us Beast Machines. Aparently he's now been given the job of converting the the Japanese show into it's English version for over here. The address is bobskir.com.

Hello again Trans-fans. It's been a while since I've posted anything here or even made any updates to the site, and for that, I apologize. I've been pretty busy latly, especially with my quarter finals. I do have a few new updates planned for the site, the first of which I'm hoping to get at least partially up this week.
On another topic, I've gotten a few E-mails during the past few weeks asking (or in one or two cases, complaining) about when the main Transformersonline site will be back up, and also why there havn't been that many updates to the site. For the first of these questions, I myself am not sure when the main site will be back up. Darrell, the Webmaster of Transformersonline.com, has told me that he intends to have it back up sometime this summer, but he didn't give me any specific date. As for why this site doesn't get updated as often as it should, I hope you understand that it's being run by a two guys who are pressed for time (one of us two, ShadowBlade, has just graduated from college, and is now searching for employment). As some of you may know, ShadowBlade has taken a temporary leave of absence from TFO, so you guys are pretty much just stuck with me (I hear you moaning! At least have the curtosy to leave the site before you make sounds like that!:-). But hopefully within the next month (or two at the most), we'll be back in full force with the return of ShadowBlade.

TF: The movie has actually had its date pushed back even further than Soundwave first thought it is now due for release on 7/7/01

  • 6/1/2001: -SoundWave
This is just another update on the Region 2 release of TF: The Movie it appears to have been pushed back again!!!!!! this time to the 25th of June, Fingers crossed it will actually get released this time.

  • 5/10/2001: -SoundWave
Transformers the Movie on Region 2 (UK) DVD has had its release date put back again from the 14th May to the 14th June.
This is really beginning to get on my nerves as I've had this on preoder now for 5 months!!! (It was originaly due for realese in January.)
    Anyway Im done ranting.

  • 4/21/2001: -Dinobot
Hello Trans-Fans. Just wanted to let you know that I put up a brand new web poll. The results from the last one (which got 201 votes), which asks What's your opinion of the newest TF show being a redubbing of the recent Japanese show 'car Robots': 65 (31%) of you say you've seen it in it's original form and think it's awesome, 50 (24%) say you've never seen it, but think it will be great when it gets here, 9 (4%) say you don't mind if it's mearly a redubbing, 33 (16%) hate the idea of the show being a redubbing, 31 (15%) say they havn't seen it, and thus don't have an opinion, and 14 (6%) ask "What's a Car Robot?". Also, I want to apologize to VectorSigma.net for stealing that last voting option, I saw it on a similar poll they had. Rest assured, the new poll was 100% my idea.
I want to thank SoundWave and Dinobot4Ever (ever notice that the people who've chosen the name 'Dinobot', or a variation of it, are usually all around swell guys? :-)) for submiting news to put up on the main page. I was feeling sort of lonley, being the only guy to post stuff up here.

BigBadToyStore has all the new pre-orders for the G1 re-releases here: www.bigbadtoystore.com. The pre-orders are Starscream, Sideswipe, Red Alert, Ratchet , Ironhide, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Inferno, Grapple, Ramjet, Thrust, Dirge, Trailbreaker and Hoist. The only downside to this huge re-release is that most of them are limited to 1,000 units so the price is really high, but anyone whos a G1 fan should atleast go check 'em out ;)-Dinobot4ever

  • 4/13/2001: -Dinobot
Happy Good Friday everyone. I apologize for the lack of updates, but I am finding myself pressed for time. In addition to taking my regular college classes, due to a problem with my schedual, I also have to come to evening classes as well. And to make things worse, I get absolutly NO time off for Easter.
Another contributing factor to so few updates is that I'm running out of updates to do. Since I don't really have the time to go around the web and hear all the Transformers news out there, none gets put up here. So, I'm asking everyone to keep their ears open for transnews, write reports about what they've heard, and send them to me. I will post the reports up here with your name (screen name that is). I reserve the right to edit or not post any reports due to content, or relevence to Transformers. You could also send in a summerization of the report, and I'd have a link to the complete one in the news section. Links to other sites that have to do with the news are also welcome.
Now, for the news relating to this site. ShadowBlade is still away, and it appears that his website is gone too (most likly because of the termination of his internet account, since his ISP also provided his net space). As for updates, I've taken many of the old news posts off the page and put them on another page devoted to them. You can get to the news archives page here, or through the link at the bottom of the posts on this page. also removed the counter from this page, since it really was meant for TransformersOnline.com, and not this site.
Laslty, I want to reply to an E-mail I got a week or two ago. I sent two replys, but got error messages back saying that there was no such E-mail address. Anyway, Michael37042@aol.com, if you're out there, I have neither Transformer. You're best bet would be to post your request in the trade forum, or better yet, or go to E-bay.

  • 3/27/2001: -Dinobot
Looks like I'm on my own for the moment, as far as doing updates for the site go. ShaodwBlade, who's pretty much my partner on this project, has informed us that he will be taking some time of so he can have one less thing to worry about during his last two months of college. But he might pop in the forum every now and then.
Anyway, in the unlikly chance that you allready havn't heard, there will be a new Transformers series coming to FOX this coming September. The show, named Transformers: 'Robots in Disguise' will basically be the Japanese cartoon 'Car Robots', but with English dubbed in, and a new intro (which will have a newer version of the original Transformers theme music). Following suit with the direction the show is taking, the toys will be the same as their Japanese counterparts, but with the Autobot and Predicon symbols.
Lastly, I corrected the problem with the link on the main page that takes you to the episodes section. In it's place was the image of the Media link. It took me a while to realize there were two links labled Media, but was easily corrected. I was also planning on uploading the music section yet again from my home PC, but unfortunatly an error cropped up and I can't seem to upload the files at this time. I'll try to figure out something though.

  • 3/15/2001: -Dinobot
Not much news, just wanted to let you guys know I was still around and still working on the project. It might be a while until Darrell relaunches TransformersOnline.com, so I'm going to start doing a few changes to UltimateCybertron. Nothing really drastic though. You might notice, we now have a new poll up. This one will stay there for a few weeks if not many people vote in it. I will be changing it much more frequently then the old poll was changed though.
Also, I want to welcome back anyone from TFO who has just learned about this site, or has found it by other means. You can pretty much catch up on what's been happening by reading the old news posts below.

  • 3/4/2001: -Dinobot
Looks like TransformersOnline.com will live again. After finally being able to contact Darrell, I learned that he full well intends to resurect TransformersOnline.com (as can be seen now when you go to the site, you're no longer greated by a error screen, but by the site name along with the new Robots in Desguise logo). Darrell has told me that he has been busy the past few months, and has been unable to get around to rebuilding TFO until now. After giving it a lot of carefull thought, and discussing it with ShadowBlade, we've desided to rejoin TFO. You can now look forward to all the stuff we've been promising you here, but also with the resources Darrell has too.
As for UltimateCybertron, we'll keep this page here until TFO gets back on it's feet, and then we'll have this page link directly to the TFO homepage.
Lastly, I'd like to take a moment to thank everyone in the forum for their patients and for their support. guys like myself, ShadowBlade and Darrell might do the coding it takes to make sites like this, but in the end, it's the guys who visit the sites, post in the forum, and basically keep the site alive who really are the deciding factor in whether or not a site is great. Special thanks go out to SoundWave, Prime, Dinobot4Ever, Airazer, Sideswipe and KingKTaz. Thanks guys!

  • 2/26/2001: -Dinobot
Well, as you can see, Transformersonline.com is back up, although not where it used to be. Darrell, our webmaster seems to have disapeared, although he has been consistantly been updating his DBZ site. ShadowBlade and I have been E-mailing him, but he only answered once, assuring me that he would get the site going. About a month later, and after discussing it with ShadowBlade and sending yet another E-mail to Darrell, we decided that if Darrell didn't reply, we would rebuild the site ourselves. So here we are, with a new location and with ShadowBlade and I being put into the postion of Webmasters.
Also, after discussing it, ShadowBlade and I decided that we should give the site a new name. We did some brainstorming, and ShadowBlade and I finally agreed that the new site name should be...... UltimateCybertron.com!!! Like the name? It was the only one me and ShadowBlade could agree on, and I definatly wasn't going to go with ShadowBlades suggestion to call the site ShadowBladeonline.com (sorrry SB).In the near future you can look forward to a new site layout and a few new sections. Also, we encourage you to E-mail us with Transformer news if you hear anything so we can post it up here.
Please bare with us, we're rebuilding this site from what I had left on my home PC, and thus a few sections (the wallpaper and the image sections to be exact) were unrecoverable. Other sections, like the rumors or the news were just so outdated that I didn't bother with them. No sence posting a news section that has nothing that is news.
  • 12/16/2000: - Dinobot
In my attempts to restore the missing Media sections of the site, the Music section is now once again up and running. Download the opening music for G1, Beast Wars, Beast Machines or even Treansformers: The Movie in .WAV form. I'll try to get the sounds section at least partially up within the coming week, and I'm waiting for some needed info before getting the G1 CGI up. Please bare in mind there, I'm restoring these sections from what I downloaded before Darrell switched to this new server (which resulted in the loss of some of his files).

  • 12/9/2000: - Dinobot
OK, I got the fan art link working again on the main page. When I first started adding the links to this page in the first place, it took me a little time to figure out how to fit it in with Darrells' coding, so I wouldn't be surprised if I made a mistake or two. If anything gets weird on you, let me know at dinobot@transformersonline.com. Also, it would apear that we are having some trouble with getting to the site through the main address, transformersonline.com. If you've experianced trouble with that addy, then you might want to bookmark http://tfo.dbzonet.com/tf.html. And as ShadowBlade has said, he has a link for the site on his page as well.

  • 12/9/2000: - ShadowBlade
    The change has begun...
The fan art section (click here till the link is re-added by Dinobot) (Sorry DB) is now up and running. As of yet it features a new pic by me for your insperation, or competition ( please feel free to blow me away, it ain't all that difficult ), and as soon as I recieve it at the new TransArt/News E address, the premier pic by Sideswipe from the forum. The origional address does not accept pics. I had to learn this the hard way, sorry Sideswipe.
    Appologies abound today. : )
The new addy transartnews@hotmail.com is now up and ready to go and the link in the FanArt section has been updated. So keep those pics coming trans fans, and lets see just what we can dig up on this Transtech Transformers.
    See ya

  • 12/1/2000: - ShadowBlade
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all th... Sorry, I couldn't resist. : ) Well it is officially the first of December, final month of the year 2000, and the first official update made by one of us new uhhh... Administrators? Darrell has yet to title us. I was thinking Supreme, Godly, Overlords, but I get the feeling he will pass on that one. Anyways, on to my update. I think Darrell has got everything fixed on the site, but Murphy's law dictates $#!+ happens so I have added some failsafes to my own site. I have added a link in my links section that will reach the forum at anytime, and a link off my home page that will reach the site so long as the server is not down. This should help keep the forum buzzing.
    Get to my site here:
