(RP is a statistic that shows the role each individual player had in the total number of runs scored by the team during exhibition games throughout the season (38). A perfect 2.000 is desired, but hitters are not always credited with RBIs due to errors, wild pitches, and so on. Home runs are subtracted from Runs and RBIs because a player who hits a home run gets credit for both the run scored and the run batted in from the home run, both of which are part of the same run.)
