The B.I.G. Will is a 21 year old rapper from Barwick, Georgia. He produced his latest 13 track album on Big Will productions. The album features Dee, Lil Zo, & Jo.
1. Meet Yo Maker-- this track has a mellowed out beat. The B.I.G. Will raps about those who are gonna regret fuckin wit them. It's a decent track to start the album off with.
2. 2nd To None-- this track has a more laid back beat over a simple bassline. The B.I.G. Will stutters his way through his verses and proclaims himself the greatest when it comes to writing rhymes. It's an all right track but the production could use some work.
3. Gotta Make Ah Change-- this track is another slower track with a deep message to it. B.I.G. Will raps about how he realized that he had to change his life when he couldn't pay the bills and he lost everything around. This is a decent track that's worth giving a listen to.
4. I'm The Same Nigga-- this track has a more uptempo beat with some horns. B.I.G. Will raps about how he's the same person now that he was back in the day. He doesn't come that tight on his verses on this track. I'm not really feelin this one.
5. Don't Hate On Me (f/ Dee)-- this track has a mid tempo beat with a little bass in it. B.I.G. Will & Dee rap about how they don't hate on anyone so they have no reason to get hated on. It's a decent track.
6. Do This (radio re-mix)-- this track has a nice little mid tempo beat that has a catchy feel to it that had my bobbin my head to the track. Check this one out cause it's a nice little track.
7. World In Denial (f/ Lil Zo)-- this track has a beat that changes tempos throughout the track so it seems as if the rhymes don't match up to it. Not really feelin this one.
8. B Tha First 2 Blast-- this track has a laid back beat. The B.I.G. Will drops 3 decent verses on this bumpable track.
9. One Million-- this track is another slower, laid back track. B.I.G Will raps about what his world would be like if he had "1 million friends, 1 million foes, 1 million bitches, 1 million hoes". This track is one of my favorites on the album.
10. Driving Me Crazy (f/ Jo)-- this track has more of an east coast/rock and roll feel to it. The production on the track is not that great and the hook gets annoying after a while.
11. My Hero-- The B.I.G. Will raps in a more laid back "singing" style on this one about how his cousin died. This is one of those deep songs that's worth checkin out.
12. Time Iz Crazy-- this track is another slower track about B.I.G. Will's fallen cousin and friends locked up in the pen and how life is rough for him but he ain't leaving the earth until he reaches his dreams.
13. Once Upon A Time-- this track has an east coast/Slick Rick/Will Smith feel to it. I wasn't really feelin and thought he should have ended the album on a better note.
Overall, the common theme throughout the album to us was the work needed production-wise on the album. There are some tracks on the album that are hard to hear because the rappin seems like it's in the background of the beats. Some of the rhymin doesn't match up with the beats on a couple of the tracks as well. This album definitely has that underground feel to it but it does have a few nice tracks on it.
