Lil Boosie is back with his third album "Ghetto Stories" & this time it's a collaboration effort with his partner Webbie and its being presented by UGK's own Pimp C. Only features on this one are UGK & The Trill Family.

1. "Like A Bird" nice mid tempo beat some of that old country hee haw funk type of shit, sounds like some shit Pimp C would whip up. The hook goes a little something like this to kick this track off "Every Album Like A Bird - Steady Flippin - Every Album Like A Bird" just a simple hook but clean. Boosie got two verses on this track and lay it down on both of them, shows he still got it and aint lost his touch. Webbie drops a verse towards the end of things and this may be the first time for most folks to check him out and he come solid, they basically spitting about how selling albums is like selling birds out in these streets, it?s a hustle and money need to be made.

2. "Finger Fucking" (Ft Pimp C) sounds like another Pimp C creation right here on this one, got that nice old guitar country Texas funk for this beat. Pimp C on the hook it goes a little something like this "Still Finger Fucking With My Diamonds On Just Like A Pimp I Got Them Bitches Riding On My Phone". Boosie and Webbie both drop good verses on this track, they getting they pimp juice on for this track talking about hoes and how they got them doing outrageous shit because them some P-I-M-P-S.

3. "Do It Big" this beat is a little more up tempo it got them band swamp horns thing going to it, a lot of beats have a similar feel to this one. The hook is simple just some chanting going on "Do That Shit - We Gon Do It Then - Do It Big Then". The flows is coming straight on this track, the title tells all they talking about making money, having the flyest gear, fucking the flyest hoes, who got the biggest rims, if you going to do it might as well do it big.

4. "Had A Dream" beat is real slow this sounds like some final destination bloody murder let me tell you my tale type of shit. Boosie starts this track off talking about how he had a dream and he telling you about how sometimes you see something in the future and it seem so real until you wake up. The hook goes like this "I Had A Dream - But It Was Nothing like Dr King", pretty creative track something that a lot of people can relate to.

5. "Don?t Know Why" beat is fairly simple has some more of the country funk guitars going to it, just smooth and bumpable. The hook is on the singy rap tip talking about don't know why folks carry guns but I got mine. This track they both coming clean they talking about how living in these streets you got to stay strapped at all times and sometimes shit go sour and you have to handle business when it comes to it.

6. "Pussy Ass Nigga" beat is pretty clean has some of them side to side piano organ sounds going to it, this is like some block burner music. Boosie kicks this shit off, he talking about all the bitch made fools you encounter in life, talking about them come in all shapes and sizes with the same purpose. The hook he sort of addresses them pussies you know who you is, and he basically saying take this song how you want to.

7. "Play Hard" (Pimp C Solo) this track has one of them signature Pimp C sounding beats, it samples a Project Pat song in the background. With the man being locked up its good to hear a new track by him and he don't let you down. Pimp C on the hook goes like this "I Know You Strapped But You Cowards Like To Play Hard - But Knowing That You Don't Want To Catch A Murder Charge - See Fools Like To Get Full Of That Weed & Liquor - Snort A Line And You Mind Now You A Killer". Pimp C aint playing on this track, don't go toe to toe with the man because he aint playing he will lay it down with no vengeance and he does just that on this track.

8. "Money Cars" (Webbie Solo) beat aint too bad on this track, kind of repetitive but somewhat catchy to a point. This track is a Webbie solo and he doing sort of a jock on that stop and go type of style, if you hear the track you will see what is meant. He coming straight on this track its your typical making that money, ball out, ride out in the best cars type of track nothing too special.

9. "Ghetto Stories" mono tone beat, real slow and kick back, bumpable for the most part. The hook is done ol Boosie and he does sort of that singy rap chant deal, not too bad something different for him and something a lot of folks are trying now a days. This track they speaking about all the stories that they encounter as some youngens growing up in the ghetto, you see some things that may tramatize you for life and in the end make you grow up a lot quicker.

10. "Gangsta" beat is on sort of that hard gangsta bouncy has that swamp gritty feel to it as well. Boosie comes out spitting, you already know its going to be a good track for him and he pretty much lays it down. The hook is on that repetitive type of feel "Keep It Gangsta" with some added notions on what being a gangsta is. Webbie comes in towards the end and does his thing as well, they give you another good track right here.

11. "I Need U" (Boosie Solo) this beat has that nice old country guitar funk it sounds like another Pimp C creation. The hook is on that singy R&B tip, its real clean it has that old school type of feel to it, kind of turns into a singy verse due to the length. Boosie coming slower on this track talking about that person that he need and how they been through shit with him through thick and thin but at the same time it be the same ones who cross you when times get hard.

12. "Girl Go Ahead" (Ft Trill Family) beat is pretty catchy, would be something for the ride, clubs, radio type of deal. The hook is definitely for the ladies its some shit that you what to get their dance and booty shake on to. Boosie and family coming pretty clean on this track, this is one of the more mass appeal tracks right here, more for the females or the club heads.

13. "Animosity" (Boosie Solo) gritty, this is like one of them you always got to look behind your back type of beats. Boosie on the solo tip once again and he talking about all the folks smiling in his face but at the same time they probably the same ones doing the he say she say behind his back. The hook is on gangsta tip boosie says something like this "Animosity - Smiling In My Face - You Aint My Round - Animosity - Don?t Make Me Put My Iron In My Face And Lay You Down".

14. "Happen To You" this is one of them we coming for you beats, if you crossed me or snitched best to watch your back. This is one of them repetitive type of tracks sort of like Juvenile's Ha but they saying "Happen To You". Like you did so and so that's how that happen to you, Boosie and Webbie both dropping some solid verses on this track not letting down too much, just giving you another bumpable track.

15. "Porch" (Webbie) beat is catchy, a little different and funky sounding has the swamp horns going to it. Webbie on the solo tip for this track he gets your head bobbing, he talking about all the shit he do as soon as he leave his porch, slanging out in these streets, head bustin, you know how these Louisiana boys do it. The hook aint too bad on this one comes pretty repetitive you get to see how Webbie holds his own on the solo tip.

16. "Keep It Gutta" (Booise Solo) this is one of them paranoia beats, late at night you in room peeping out the window thinking that someone out there creeping waiting for you. The hook is simple "Keep It Gutta" being said over and over, Boosie rip this track he talking about how he got to keep this shit raw, talking about all the savage shit you have to get that money made and get up out and on to better things in life.

17. "Shit Trill" (Webbie Solo) beat is catchy has a effect which makes it seem like its traveling from speaker to speaker. Webbie on the solo tip showcasing his skill, he talking about he got to keep shit trill in these streets, he always bout making that paper, wheter its slanging of jacking he has to get his. The hook is on that repetitive tip once again not much creativity on the hooks but they still keep it catchy.

18 "In My Pockets" (Ft UGK) this is the same beat from Tela's "Sho Nuff" and Gangsta Boo's "Where Dem Dollars At" classic beat. UGK is featured on this one and they sound perfect to this beat and they rip it, they talking about how all these hoes want they money and its only staying in one place in they pockets, they not getting shit. Boosie lays it down, they just getting down on the hoes for this track, good beat selection and song to end things out, this was on the Boosie Bootleg also so it may not be new to some folks.

The production done by Trill Entertainment was not really top notch but it wasn?t the worst either. The beats were not bad at all most all of them were what you could say above a bumpable level but the only thing is they don't really hold up to Boosie's potential. Quite a few of the beats sound like Pimp C creations while the others sound like they were the in house Trill producers. Boosie blessed us by coming onto the scene a few years ago and has pretty much had heads turned and ears tuned into his skills. He came out and had you like DAMN this little fool can spit his ass off for a youngen. Some time has passed and you know with time you get better and he has done just that. Voice has matured as well as his delivery and lyrics which is just carving a way for him to having a successful career. You also have to admit he must have some kind of talent if UGK is fucking with him right, how long have they been in the game and now just finally presenting someone. Lets talk about Webbie, he is new to most ears and is not really the reason most people rushed and got this album but he can hold his own. Sure he is no Boosie but he pretty much came with it on every track he was featured on giving a very solid performance and most likely gaining a few fans. I wouldn't be surprised if he was next to have a solo within the Trill Entertainment Family. The tracks on the album were pretty on point, you really didn't have any sorry tracks the only thing that may have lacked at times were the beats. Its like some of the songs with a top notch beat could do some damage which sort of limits certain songs from doing what they might be able to. Should be no disappoint here, if you?re a Boosie fan than of course your going to like this. If you have not been able to check out any of Boosie's work this might be time to take a chance because sooner or later you are most definitely going to be hearing from this youngen.
