After a few solo efforts the Project Playaz are back with a new album entitled “The Return”. They got a new label behind them as well after trying things at Relativity and Warlock they find a new home with J Prince at Rap-A-Lot Records.

1. "Intro" Project Playaz and Squeeky just introducing the album and the collaboration with RAP A LOT.

2. "Crank Dis" has sort of a crunk dance feel going to it. The hook is on some of that straight crunk shit some of that throw that bows in the club shit. Project Playaz come on point for this track all of em dropping some good flows to start the album out.

3. "Don’t Give A Fuck" pretty simple beat just some down south piano mobb hop type shit. One of them represent type tracks right here like South Memphis North Memphis all that type of shit. The flows don’t come too bad on this, just a track representing home and what its known for.

4. "I Do" some laid back shit on this one has sort of a im bout to get some type of beat. Crim starts things out on this track he spitting about bitches and how he needs that damn chewing. The hook is on that freaky tip talking bout we need some ladies to break dem knees. The rest of the click comes pretty good on this one another track worth checking right here.

5. "(Who) Take It Outside" has a pretty catchy beat sounds like some futuristic space funk shit. Some more crunk shit right here that throw them bows and chairs shit right here. The hook has a trend that seems to be getting popular using little kids voices/ mixed with some crunk shit on Project Playaz’s parts. Flows come pretty good on this one as well another track worth checking out right here.

6. "Interlude" some important information about the shake junts all around the world……

7. "Shake Dat" some more of that futuristic crunk shake that ass shit right here. A track for the strip clubs right here, that pop that pussy type of shit. The flows follow on the same tip all about that ass shaking in the shake junts type of shit.

8. "Get Money" real laid back shit sounds like some down south fiesta type of shit. This track is all about how we need to get the mighty green. The hook is pretty plain on this one but gets the job done, the flows come straight on this one nothing too great, worth a peep to see if its your cup of tea.

9. "Big Mouth" some of that mellow don’t know what to expect type of shit on this beat. This track is all about that damn jaw cracking, its that one person that got that big mouth that need to be handled. The flows are pretty good on the one the PP drop a good hook with it too, one of the better tracks worth checking right here.

10. "Niggas & Bitches" more of a up tempo beat some of that glistening diamond ride out shit. A track about the hoes and they stuff the falling for from a playa. The flows come pretty good on this sort of a storyline going throughout the verses on this one, another track that aint to bad and worth a check.

11. "On Da Run" another pretty simple beat just has the basic down south TN feel going to it. This track features Rasta Thomas who does the hook he flipping shit n that Rasta Jamaican shit. The flows on PP part don’t come to bad on this track, another track worth checking seems like more of a filler though.

12. "Caught Wit It" has a real simple feel on that sentimental buckish type of shit. A track basically bringing back the old saying that Pac made famous “You Live By The Gun You Die By The Gun”. PP come with some more straight flows on this track nothing too special to talk about.

13. "Joedy" real simple beat some of that gather round the crystal ball and see whats in your future shit. A track about fucking with a girl you know got a damn man. Joedy is the guy in the position knowing his girl is fuckign around but don’t exactly know who. PP come pretty tight on this one, I was feeling the concept behind it I believe everyone been in this predicament one time or another.

14. "U Aint Mad Is Ya" has sort of a symphonic deep southern gritty buck shit feel to it. Has sort of a crunk fuck everybody feel to it, the flows don’t come too bad on this one just some raise your middle finger up and say what "U Ain't Mad Is Ya?"

15. "Slum and Drunk" real slow beat on this one you could probably really get into this track if you was gon of that smoke and drank. A track all about sippin and smoking right here, this track features DJ Squeeky he rapping a little bit in this one not the best rapper but he passes as not the worst. Not a bad track got to have at least one of these every album to even things out.

16. "Keep It Crunk" some more of that get up grab that chair and crack your dome type shit on this beat. The titles speaks it all on this one its some more of that act a damn fool and just start getting crunk up in this bitch. The flows come pretty good on this one just that crunk shit explains it all on this one.

17. "Do Ya Thang" some of that booty clapping dance floor strip club where the ladies will shake them asses type of shit. A track you play to get the ladies to pop that damn thang, the flows come straight its one of them dance strip club tracks only problem this is like the 3rd one on the album.

18. "Dis Is Da Cut" has sort of a off set beat has a weird ass effect to it some trunk dropper shit. A track about a song that makes the clubs shut down or your trunk plain out rumble. The flows don’t come too bad on this one, another mediocre track right nothing too great.

19. "Interlude" a skit about getting fucked in the biz……a good example what happens to some artists…

20. "Aint No Stopping" real laid back beat just some good shit to kick back and ride too. A track with the who mo cheda family putting it down about all the shit PP have been through and they aint finna stop doing what they do. A good track to end things out on, good flows and solid hook.

The production done by DJ Squeeky was decent once again, a few beats that get your head moving but nothing like the classic shit Squeek is known for. A lot of the beats seemed to sound the same as well, not a lot of diversity to keep you interested. An upside to this album is that it is a true Project Playaz album all three members committed fully behind this one unlike the previous effort it was more like two members. The album had a few key tracks that kept your attention, but their was also a lot of repetitiveness on track usage. Too many tracks that had a Booty Shake /Crunk type of feel which gets old real quick. Mo Cheda and the family don’t seem to be doing too good as of late, they are in need of a change or they may be one of those labels no one is willing to take a chance on. Overall an album that you may have in rotation for a week or so but then it will probably be archived in the collection.
