Sean Keys aka DJ Car Tunes hails from Pittsburgh, PA and drops his new 16 track compilation album which he produced. The album features Big Pooh, Golden I, Finess Wikid, R.O.M.E., Mr. Brink, A.G., Holly-Wood, Ezra Pound, J. Sinnie, Tac Business, E-Dubb, & Jack Daniels.
1. Tha' Money Mix (f/ Big Pooh, Sean Keys, & Golden I)-- this track has a laid back beat and is basically about how they are in the rap game for the money. It's an all right track but the production is a little raw.
2. Poppin' Dem Spots (f/ Finess Wiked, R.O.M.E., & Mr. Brink)-- this track has a mid tempo beat and it has a little bit of a Louisiana feel when it comes to the rap. It's a decent track and one of the better ones on the album.
3. Dime Roster (f/ A.G. of Dangerous)-- this track has a little faster beat than the previous track. It's one of those bling bling type tracks. It's not a bad track but there are parts where it's hard to hear the words because the beat is louder than the rappin. But it's a nice track.
4. Get Money (f/ Holly-Wood of Dangerous)-- this track has that slowed down Texas style (not slowed enough to call screwed) on the beat and the rappin. There is even a reference to the Screwed Up Click in one of the verses. This is one of my favorite tracks on the album and Southern fans alike will enjoy this one. Don't skip this one when you get the album.
5. Main Piece (f/ Ezra Pound)-- this track has a mid tempo beat but I wasn't really feelin all the extra stuff mixed into the beat like the laser sounds. Ezra has a bit of the Louisiana sound to him also. Nice track.
6. Interview (f/ Sean Keys, Golden I, & J. Sinnie)-- this track has the format of an interview being taken of each rapper and he raps his answers. It's an all right track with a nice beat.
7. Let Me Hear Ya Say (f/ Tac Business)-- this track has a Southern influence while still keepin an East Coast sound. It's basically a rep what region of the country you from type track. It's a bumpable track.
8. Money Hungry (f/ Sean Keys)-- this track has a mid tempo beat. "Tha Sherm Man" raps about how he's all about the paper so "fuck da world". It's a nice track that you could bump.
9. Wicked Streets (f/ Finess Wiked)-- this track has a really nice laid back bassline beat. Finess wrecks the mic and sound tight on this one. This is one of the best, if not the best, track on the album.
10. We Dem Niggas (f/ Sean Keys & Golden I)-- this track has a nice laid back beat with some decent rhymes. But again, I felt too much "extra" stuff on the beat. I thought they could have done better with a simpler beat.
11. B.L.O.W. (f/ Sean Keys & Big Pooh)-- I wasn't really feelin this one too much. Just too much going on in the background with the beats, the echos with each line of the verses, etc. Just wasn't feelin it.
12. All I Know (f/ Sean Keys)-- this track starts off with a slowed down style but then transitions to the regular pace. The rappin is more in the background on this track so it made it harder to listen to.
13. Hustle Trendz (f/ Sean Keys, E-Dubb, Ezra Pound, Golden I, Tac, & Big Pooh)- this track has a darker mid tempo beat. Each person raps about the what and the why's of hustlin. It's a bumpable track.
14. Snitch Mix (f/ Finess Wiked)-- this track has a nice beat that'll keep ya head bobbin throughout. Finess Wiked does a nice job on the mic as well. Another nice track but it's kinda short.
15. Strictly 4 Da Streets Mix (f/ Sean Keys & Jack Daniels)-- this track is a nice track with some references to being the "#1 Stunnas" in the verses. But a decent track you'll be able to bump.
16. F.U.B.U. (commercial) (f/ Holly-Wood)-- just a freestyle to end the album out with
Overall, I wasn't sure what to expect since I had never heard any rappers from Pittburgh, PA before but there was a mixture of different styles on the album from East Coast to Dirty South. I thought the standout artist on the album was Finess Wiked who shined throughout the album on his tracks. The production seemed better to me on his tracks as well. I thought the production on the album, for the most part, was really raw at times and if the beats were kept simpler without all the "extra" stuff I mentioned, then the album would have been better.
