Profit creates Greed.   Greed creates Selfishness.   Selfishness creates puppy millers who do not care for the ideal of one perfect dog. As Ultimate Show Breeders we eschew profits and focus our work on enhancing the form and figure of the dog, irregardless of critics and only for the love of beauty, an appeal to a small but discerning few.   Each dog is a carefully sculpted work of art. The greeder on the other hand, will selfishly breed for attributes that merely increase the value of the dog to the greatest number of people, like health or working ability or temperament.   He repudiates, yes, REPUDIATES the only responsible breeding goal - namely “improving” the breed.   His dogs are merely products, manufactured to supply the irresponsible, un-appreciative pet market. We are the Andres Serrano’s, they the Thomas Kinkades. Do not be fooled!   Greeders will USE the show ring to increase their profit, selfishly dragging their sorry specimens from venue to venue just to be able to advertise themselves as "show breeders".   But they are frauds, and will be found out! Many a closet puppy miller has been ferreted out by his greed, selling pet puppies simply for MONEY. Of course, they all start to snivel and cry about needing MONEY to finance another season in the ring. Pathetic. I will be candidly frank here, if one does not have the financial means to fund an Ultimate Show Breeding program, one had either better marry money FAST, or steal a stuffed dog because they have no business pretending to be an Ultimate Show Breeder. Simply, if you are not independently wealthy, if you cannot control your finances in a capable manner, how can you possibly have the skill to manage the intricate combinations of the infinite complexities of the pedigree? You can't. Profit, is what drives puppymillers to treat their animals like Livestock.   A greeder will force his poorly-bred mutt to spend hours out of doors in all types of weather.   Puppymillers will force dogs to breed without human intervention, to whelp naturally and not provide any assistance until the bitch is in dire straits, if then! The worst of these greeders house their mutts into concrete and chainlink "runs", away from the warmth and nurturing environment of the home.   Their animals are slopped once a day with commercial grade foods, like so much livestock.
