The fact his father rejected him saddened Blue Giant. He began a historic 15-month eating binge. His weight once exceded 500 lbs!! This is where Richard Simmons comes in. Richard spotted Blue Giant one day on a beach in California, mistaking him for a beached whale. Richard ran up to him noticing this was an actual person! For the next two years, Richard whipped Blue Giant into shape. He made him excerise two hours a day and limited him to what he could eat.

Finally, Blue Giant was on the right track. He was feeling good about himself and even had a stable girlfriend. Then he got a call from his father. His father told Blue Giant how much he hated him and how he wished he would have never had sex with his skank mother. Blue Giant became angry and wanted to kill his father, but Richard was there to convince him to take out his anger in a more acceptable manner. He suggested that he join a wrestling federation where he could take out his everday fustration on other wrestlers and even stay in shape at the same time. Blue Giant thought this was a great idea and soon he was on his way to championship gold!

Unfortunately, after three straight losses in the UWC, a long with extremely bad behavior, Owner of the UWC, Dan Gregier decided to suspend Blue Giant. It wasn't certain when or if Blue Giant would be back. That is until Caboose decided that he wouldn't be refing the Sexiest Man Alive Tournament. This left Dan Gregier in a sticky situation. He didn't have a ref for the tournament. So Dan Gregier called Blue Giant up with a special job opportunity: to ref the Sexiest Man Alive Tournament.
