Having a case full of running trophies was very satisfying indeed, but there was something missing on the shelfs of his beautiful glass, trophy case. He couldn't determine what it was, that is until he met a wrestler named The Office. The Office told him about the greats of wrestling and how if he worked hard, he could probably add a championship belt to his trophy case.

Finally The Runner knew what was missing. This void in his life was now beginning to fill. No longer would he persue his father's dreams of his son becoming a track legend. He would now enter a wrestling federation and become the best wrestler to his ability and maybe, just maybe add a championship belt to his precious trophy case!

Reality hit The Runner though after the World Title Tournament where he was stabbed in his thigh by Phantom. "It really hit me. Not only was my running career over but so was my wrestling career." says the Runner. Shortly after the tournament Dan Gregier, owner of the UWC and father of The Runner appointed The Runner commissioner of UWC out of pity for his son. "I realized I was pushing him too hard to do what I wanted him to do... and that was to run. Naturally I understood that he liked the wrestling circuit and wanted to become a part of it. When he was stabbed I knew this would not only end his wrestling career, but any chances he may have of returning to running. So I appointed him the commissioner," states Dan Gregier. "I just wanted him to be happy."

The Runner is happy. After rehabbing his leg for around nine months, he announced that he was trying to make a comeback in the running world. "Running is my true love. It makes me feel good. If I miss a few UWC events, oh well." says the Runner. "I don't need that crap in my life right now." The Runner has put the UWC on the back burner for right now and in his place he has trusted The Office and hired goons to keep things under control.
