I have myself, a friend to me
A friend to me, I can truly see
He's not like the rest, the ones that are fake
The one's that are there, to take and take

I almost ended, I almost died
Yet there he was, by my side
Spoken words, of truth and trust
Listened to me, while I fussed

Assuring, gentle , loving , kind
A true frined, is always at my mind
Words have passed, shaking ends
Emptiness gone, and now a friend

Though true feelings I do hide
The feelings hidden, deep inside
The one's I know, I should'nt speak
Yet how can I not, when they're at their peak

A friend so loyal, deep and true
A friend, true friend I see in you
