I miss you love,
And sometimes I just cant see,
Why you can no longer,
Be here with me.

I was not ready,
To say goodbye,
I want to make sense of your loss,
But I stumble when I try.

I go about the day,
Pretending that everything is fine,
But I yearn for the feel,
Of your hand in mine.

I think about you,
And all I can do is weep,
You even haunt my thoughts,
When I'm fast asleep.

Everyone says this pain,
Will lessen each day,
But when I search for the sun,
The clouds get in the way.

And I want you to know,
That though this grief will fade,
For the rest of my life,
I'll cherrish the memories we've made.
