Just a quick word about intros for all you RP'ers out there.

All intros should include the same four basic blocks of info, movement into the scene, a line or two of character description, movement to include a description, and an out-loud sentence that then allows you to describe the voice of your character.

No intro should include text relating anything else about the character, simply because if we know you, we already know the info, if we don't know you, discovery is half the fun of roleplaying, lets us wonder a bit before we find out more.

Now, to break it down so you can see how it's down...

As an example...

ultragamemaster9000: enters into the tavern with a soft electric hum, his blocky metallic body is slightly tarnished and dented, a large screen is fixed into his chest and his eyes are white blinking lights, his voice-emitter is red and waves back and forth. He rolls across the room on tracks that click across the floor. He stops in front of the bar and his head swivels to look behind it as he asks..."Pardons...is there a tender about here at the moment?"...his voice is flat and electronic. . o O ( no pic, sorry )

And there you have it, a decently short, descriptive Intro that lets us all know the pertinent information we can not know through text alone. Don't like my example, oh well, flame me for it later...either way, this should be standard.
