These are what I think the Rules for combat should be...so pay attention, you might learn something

All Actions In Combat Require 1 Attack And Then 1 Damage String

Both The Attack And Damage String Must Contain The Name Of Who You Are Fighting

An Attack String is at least 7 words that explain your attack

{I.E.}...ultragamemaster9000: swings his sword down to the neck of training dummy Bob

A Damage String is at least 10 words that explain your hit/damage

{I.E.}...ultragamemaster9000: watches as his sword cleaves into the neck of training dummy Bob

The above example could also be a magical attack or the use of an Item or Skill in combat. The point of this change from T2 is that a magician has a harder time of being able to win a fight due to the fact that everything but melee attacks required two preps...natch that shit man, It doesn't help the RP in any way. To continue...

Now, a defender can either Dodge, Parry or Counter

A Dodge String is at least 7 words that explain your movements

{I.E.}...Training Dummy Bob: jumps back as ultragamemaster9000's sword comes down at his neck

A Parry String is at least 10 words that describe how you block an attack

{I.E.}...Training Dummy Bob: whips his sword up in a horizontal position blocking the attack of ultragamemaster9000

A Counter String is at least 15 words that explain your block and then your attack

{I.E.}...Training Dummy Bob: blocks the downward attack and then he spins low bringing his sword at ultragamemaster9000's legs

A Counter is essentially both a Block and an Attack string, and as such still requires a Damage string to actually cause Damage

These are the basics of what combat is, the idea of T1 is stupid, simply because combat happens in real-time and usually only takes a few moments. For all you IRL RP'ers, you know what I'm saying, for the rest of you pansy-asses, take notes, cause if you get into a fight with me, I'm posting these rules and thats the only way I'll view a kill of one of my characters as legal, sorry but shit happens, and your wading in it right now

A Kill String can be legally played at any time as long as you have legally played both an Attack and Damage String.

A Kill String is at least 15 words the describe a final utter blow that mortally wounds your opponent. To continue from the previous examples...

{I.E.}...ultragamemaster9000: extends his blow watching Training Dummy Bob's chest cavity cleave open spurting blood in all directions

And YES this does mean that you can end a fight in one blow, however, if you are fighting someone who regenerates, say a Werewolf, then your opponent can make a final "attack/damage" string combo to heal himself. However the fight is over and the loser must take it as such, preferably gracefully, however, I don't see THAT happening anytime soon.

Typo Limit is 3 per string, more than 3 and your string is void

And at this time, I don't think there is anything else that I need to point out as crucial, when I think of more, it will show up here, until then, have fun bitching at me!
