Antarctica is not a country. Australia is a country and a continent. You can think of it as the only country in the continent Australia is Australia. The four oceans of the world are the Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean, and the Arctic Ocean. The Pacific Ocean is the world's biggest and deepest ocean, making up about 45.5% of the world's oceans. Small oceans are seas. The International Hydrographic Organization in spring of 2000 marked the boundaries of a fifth ocean, the Southern (or Antarctic) Ocean. |
