Fire Pokemon This is the article on the fire type pokemon species as a genetic-class of classifying the many groups of the pokemon. The Element: Why fire? Well, I guess that it is one of most people's personal opinion, but why it has to be the first article is something else. But then again, a, element has to be first, right? But in real life though, fire types are probably the most painful in human terms. I mean, if we were to have a bucket of water dumped on us, it wouldn't really hurt as much as if we had fire on us, right? Same with grass. Offensively Weak (X 0.5):Dragon, Rock, and Water Defensively Weak (X 2):Ground, Rock, and Water, Offensive Advantage (X 2):Bug, Grass, Ice, and Steel Defensive Advantage (X 0.5):Bug, Grass, Ice, and Steel The Feeling:(Poetry Corner) I feel a whole lot of the fire. As I now lay myself to sleep, I can now see the far-away volcanoes bursting with hot-burning lava! As it shoots and shoots in the middle of an ancient island! The flames! The roars! The life! And most of all, the heat! I can feel myself sweating down hard as I look down at the volcano full of hot molten lava and magma. Bubbles pop in all direction! Then, I saw a red-hot Charizard burning fire at me? Is this the end? Is this the end? Is this the end, of my life!!?? (Don't mess with fire!). The Pokemon: (14/14) 1.Charizard: Trading Card Stats: Number: 4/102 Expansion: Base Set HP:120 Level:76. Attacks: Energy Burn, FireSpin (100) Weakness: Water Resistance: Fighting Video Game Stats: HP:359 Attack:266 Defense:254 Speed:298 Special Attack:316 Special Defense:268 Total:1761 Comments: Any pokemon with over 1740 is really good. And it's trading card stat is horribly tremendous! With an element of fire/flying, it is twice as good as grass, and the second element really helps in the general weaknesses of a regular fire type. Very rarely do you see a pokemon with 120 HP, and a base damage of 100, and to think, it's pokemon power seriosly help. The only weakness is a Muk, or the trainer Goop Gas Attack. It's Video Game stats is pretty good, and the other choices of an exact fire/flying type is Moltres and Ho-oh, which takes a while in the game to catch. Also, it can learn moves like earthquake that will be good against it's weakness, though it has 4x weakness against rock. 2.Ninetales: Trading Card Stats: Number:12/102 Expansion: Base Set HP:80 Level:32 Attacks: Lure, Fire Blast (80) Weakness: Water Resistance: (None) Video Game Stats: HP:349 Attack:250 Defense:248 Speed:298 Special Attack:260 Special Defense:298 Total:1703 Comments:Well, I do remember saying a pokemon is worth having if it's max stat's is over 1700, and well, Ninetales did make it with a barely 1703! Hooray, for, the Ninetales Fans. Not a bad pokemon if you ask me. I know it is a favorite to use for girls, since if in pokemon real life, you can just collect cute pokemon and there is no need to worry about strength; why can't in real life you do the same? Now in T.C.G., it is a rare pokemon to use Fire Blast! The ultimate move, and with 80 damage it's pretty impressive! It's good that it could learn dig, but roar, well, it's a terrible attack to learn if you ask me, because you can't use it in battle, and link battle. Rest can be a nice move if your HP and defense are high, and overall, it's quite good! 3.Arcanine: Trading Card Stats: Number: 23/102 Expansion: Base Set HP: 100 Level:45 Attacks: Flamethrower (50), Take Down(80). Weakness: Water Resistance: (None) Video Game Stats: HP:383 Attack:318 Defense:258 Speed:288 Special Attack:298 Special Defense:258 Total:1803 Comments:Awesome! But unlike Charizard, it has no resistance, since it is only a fire type. But that brings about how there is a debate on whether Charizard or Arcanine is better. Arcanine has better stats, which is 1803, and even though a pokemon over the stat 1700 is good, over 1800 is great! As it made the bare minimum. But to think, there is way more fire types than fire/flying types, giving no right to just insult Arcanine. But his impressive Take Down attack loses 30 HP, so he works as a good combo with a Gold Berry. Other than that, he's a great pokemon to use. I'd really use a fire/flying type, just as my opinion, but if you want to use a plain fire type, this guys the best choice. 4.Rapidash: Trading Card Stats: Number: 44/64 Expansion: Jungle HP: 70 Level:33. Attacks: Stomp (20+), Agility (30) Weakness: Water Resistance:(None) Video Game Stats: HP:333 Attack:298 Defense:238 Speed:308 Special Attack:258 Special Defense:258 Total:1693 Comments:First of all, I'd like to say it didn't make the 1700s. And in T.C.G., it's HP and stuff is horrible! It's Agility attack has a 50/50 chance, which ain't too good. It's Video Game Stats aren't great, but there are worse fire types. Basically the only outstanding is its speed, causing it to go first in a higher chance, and from there, a strategy is used. It's HP is good, and it's attack is awesome, reaching almost 300! It's almost the same as Ninetales, but it's worth it to use on a team if you want to tell stories using weaker pokemon. So, yeah, it's an average pokemon. Luckily, it can learn hypnosis through breeding, which works good with Fire Spin, giving you a chance to attack every turn, and toxic, to lower it's HP down. There are strategies I can tell! 5.Magmar: Trading Card Stats: Number: 36/102 (Base Set), 39/62 (Fossil), 40/111 (Neo-Genesis) HP: 50/70/70 Level: 24/31/37 Attacks:Fire Punch (30) Flamethrower (50)/Smokecreen(10) Smog (20)/TailSlap(20) MagmaPunch(40) Weakness: Water Resistance: (None) Video Game Stats: HP:333 Attack:288 Defense:212 Speed:284 Special Attack:298 Special Defense:268 Total:1683 Comments:Whoa! There are a lot of Magmar cards, each new one on a higher level than the next. It's Video Game Stats are okay, although it is below 1700. I know this one is a personal favorite among many, and with the second expansion of pokemon creatures, he has a de-evolved form. Magmar is okay, along with some strategies, but at times he sucks, although he looks cool. 6.Flareon: Trading Card Stats: Number: 3/64 Expansion: Jungle HP: 70 Level:28 Attacks: Quick Attack (10+) Flamethrower (60) Weakness: Water Resistance: (None) Video Game Stats: HP:333 Attack:358 Defense:218 Speed:228 Special Attack:288 Special Defense:318 Total:1743 Comments:Holy smokes! This guy is all about attack! It's attack is above it's H.P., at 358! It's other stats are okay. The T.C.G. card is satisfaction, however, it's the only Flamethrower attack with 60 base damage, every other one is 50. Pretty inpressive! His total stats aren't that bad, and I know this is another choice that girls like. With a high attack like that, I'd say it's worth it to teach it a noob move, Hyper Beam. Is that allright? 7.Moltres: Trading Card Stats: Number: 12/62 Expansion: Fossil HP: 70 Level:35 Attacks: WildFire, Dive Bomb (80) Weakness: (None) Resistance: (Fighting) Video Game Stats: HP:383 Attack:298 Defense:278 Speed:278 Special Attack:348 Special Defense:268 Total:1853 Comments:1853! That's pretty darn high! But his attacks are horrible! His T.C.G. Dive Bomb is a whopping 80 damage, with no energy discard! But it requires a coin flip as a 50/50 chance. This guy has super great stuff and super bad stuff. I don't know what to rate. And 70 H.P.? Level 35? That's real low! So far, his stat's are above everyone. Remember, Arcanine barely made in the 1800s, as I said a pokemon with total stats over 1700 is pretty strong. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 8.Typhlosion: Trading Card Stats: Number: 17/111 (Neo-Genesis) 18/111 (Neo-Genesis) HP:100/100 Level:55/57 Attacks: Fire Recharge, FlameBurst (60+)/Fire Boost, FlameWheel (80) Weakness:Water Resistance: (None) Video Game Stats: HP:359 Attack:266 Defense:254 Speed:298 Special Attack:316 Special Defense:268 Total:1761 Comments:Huh. Two Typhlosions in one Neo-Genesis. We'll be seeing more of those. Is it me, or is his stats another Charizard? All his stats are exactly the same, so, so will his total stats be exactly the same. The only difference is his element, pure fire. Because of this I will give it a lower rating. There's no way I'm going to give him the exact same rating as Charizard. That proves his stats are better than Arcanine, which that ain't true. Because he can't fly, he looses advantages. He'll have problems with earthquakes and ground types. 9.Magcargo: Trading Card Stats: Number: 33/64 Attacks: MagmaPool, LavaFlow Weakness: Water, Resistance: (None) Video Game Stats: HP:303 Attack:198 Defense:338 Speed:158 Special Attack:258 Special Defense:258 Total:1513 Comments:This must be Nintendo's job of a joke, some say. His max stat is 1513. 1513!!. Can you believe that? His Attack strength is 198! If you can believe that, his speed is 158!! With an element of fire/rock, he has 4x weakness to water! 4x!. That's 2 of one move. Like if Blastoise used Hydro Pump, he might as well use it twice when it comes to 4x weakness. Not to mention, he also has 4x weakness to Ground! It's Rhydon using Earthquake twice if he uses it once! The only good thing about him is to brag to your friends that you beat someone with a Magcargo, but that's about it! However, his T.C.G. is somewhat impressive. The pokemon power Magma Pool is really helpful, ESPECIALLY when it comes to fire-type pokemon. Lava Flow is also a very powerful move, so, yeah, it's challengeing to rate this guy. 10.Entei: Trading Card Stats: Number: Attacks: Weakness: Video Game Stats: HP:433 Attack:328 Defense:268 Speed:298 Special Attack:278 Special Defense:248 Total:1853 Comments:Dang! He's pretty darn good! It's another Moltres that's pure fire. Not to mention, he learns Fire Blast on his own! He's one good pokemon, althoug many people don't like legendaries. 11.Ho-oh: Trading Card Stats: Number: Attacks Weakness: Video Game Stats: HP:415 Attack:358 Defense:278 Speed:278 Special Attack:318 Special Defense:406 Total:2053 Comments:Magcargo in the 1500s is crap. Rapidash in the 1600s sucks. Others in the 1700s are good. Pokemon in the 1800s is great. Pokemon in the 1900s is the bomb. But what about pokemon over 2000? Let's worship them? Nah, no way. Anyway, I'll go ahead and give him a rating. And also, he's a flying type, not just pure fire. He's born knowing Sacred Fire, and learns Fire Blast at level 44, while Entei learns it at level 71. The strongest fire pokemon existing in the land. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 12.Blaziken: Trading Card Stats: Number: Attacks: Weakness: Video Game Stats: HP:363: Attack:338 Defense:238 Speed:258 Special Attack:318 Special Defense:238 Total:1753 Comments: 13.Torkoal: Trading Card Stats: Number: Attacks: Weakness: Video Game Stats: HP:343 Attack:268 Defense:378 Speed:138 Special Attack:268 Special Defense:238 Total:1633 14.Camerupt: Trading Card Stats: Number: Attacks: Weakness: Video Game Stats: HP:343: Attack:298 Defense:238 Speed:178 Special Attack:308 Special Defense:248 Total:1613 Comments: The Best Pokemon: 410 1513 Magcargo 460 1613 Camerupt 470 1633 Torkoal 495 1683 Magmar 500 1693 Rapidash 505 1703 Ninetales 525 1743 Flareon 530 1753 Blaziken 534 1761 Charizard/Typhlosion 555 1803 Arcanine 580 1853 Moltres/Entei 680 2053 Ho-oh Did you like this list? Are you excited about the next one? Other Pokemon: So, 14 pokemon eh? Out of over 380? You must think there is almost no fire types at all? WRONG! Here are the rest. (12/12) Charmander Charmeleon Vulpix Growlithe Ponyta Cyndaquil Quilava Slugma Magby Torchic Combusken Numel As you can see, these fire pokemons all evolve. So, if you're interested in the stats of ALL the fire pokemon, CLICK HERE. This is even more interesting eh? If that's so, you CAN'T wait for the next article, for there is more than twice as much pokemon! The Average Stat: Of all fire pokemon that are evolved, this is the average total stat. 1765.36 Of ALL pokemon, including pokemon that evolve like Charmander, are: 1593 (Exactly!). The Attacks: (8/8) 1.Ember: Attack Damge:40 Power Points:25 Accuracy:100 Comments:Well, I understand it'a an essential attack at the beginning of the game, and as they learn more attacks, this one's gets replaced, by Flamethrower, or Flame Wheel. Since almost every pokemon that learns ember can learn flamethrower, it's a useless attack. I don't see any point in keeping this attack thrughout the game. But if you really need ember, use Flame Wheel, since it has the exact same P.P., so you have a greater damage. 2.Fire Blast: Attack Damage:120 Power Points:5 Accuracy:85 Comments:Whoa! The ultimate move! It's better than Sacred Fire since they both have the same P.P., and it's accuracy ain't that bad. I'd teach this on my own Charizard, and if P.P. is your problem, ever heard of a P.P. Up, it works. You know, if Fire Blast had 10 P.P., wouldn't many people like to use it. I know most 120-Attack Damage have bad accuracy, but if that's the problem, you can give your pokemon things to raise their accuracy, like X Accuracy. So I'll give this attack a higher rating. 3.Fire Punch: Attack Damage:75 Power Point:15 Accuracy:100 Comments:Average. However, Flamethrower has the same P.P., but way more Attack Power! But the thing is, this is normally the only fire attack that can be learned by non-fire type pokemon, like Alakazam. The "fire punch", is realating to real life, since how can non-fire types learn something else? So, an average rating. 4.Fire Spin: Attack Damage:15 Power Point:15 Accuracy:70 Comments:Hmf, pretty interesting. It is only 15 damage, but it can attack 2-5 times in a row. The least you can get (2 turns), is 30, a weak Ember. But the most (5 turns), would be 75 damage. And that's a Fire Punch, and if we look at their accuracy, it's the same as Fire Spin. So in general, this is worse than a Fire Punch, as you have a 25/25/25/25 chace on getting it. And even if you do get it, how many times can it stay like that? So, whatever I rate it, it has to be worse than Fire Punch. Now I just wonder why this is an attack that most pokemon learns last? 5.Flame Wheel: Attack Damage:60 Power Point:25 Accuracy:100 Comments:Not much but a powerful Ember. The only thing great about it is that it melts ice. But then again, I don't know. It's Power Point is pretty high. So, Rating:70 6.Flamethrower: Attack Damge:95 Power Point:15 Accuracy:100 Comments:Finally, an attack with high attack power! I like this attack. Fire Punch has the same P.P., but this has 20 more attack power. Really good. This attack is used by many pokemon, and many trainers teach them this attack. It's accuracy is great! And reliable! 7.Sacred Fire: Attack Damage:100 Power Point:5 Accuracy:95 Comments:Even though Flamethrower is 20 more attack power comapred with Fire Punch, this attack is only 5 more comapared to Flamethrower, and it's P.P. is horrible. But then again, I don't compare attacks with Flamethrower. But Fire Blast is better, as I said, it has the same amout of P.P., and 20 more Attack Power. Though only Ho-oh can learn this, it's pretty goood. 8.Sunny Day: Attack Damage:(None) Power Point:5 Accuracy: Comments:And how am I suppose to rate this? All this really depends, but at times, it helps when a fire-type pokemon does this. I mean, if a grass-type uses this, the fire attacks increase by 50%, causing more damage and chances of a 1-hit kill work. So generally, this really depends. Thinking About Attacks In Another Point of View: (Base Damage Times PP) (This is thinking that the attacks have perfect accuracy) Ember: 40 X 25 = 1000 Flame Wheel: 60 X 25 = 1500 Fire Punch: 75 X 15 = 1125 Flamethrower: 95 X 15 = 1425 Sacred Fire: 100 X 5 = 500 Fire Blast: 120 X 5 = 600 500 Sacred Fire 600 Fire Blast 1000 Ember 1125 Fire Punch 1425 Flamethrower 1500 Flame Wheel Just to let a self note, you can use PP UP on Fire Blast to make it better. 1 PP Up: 120 X 6 = 720 2 PP Up: 120 X 7 = 840 3 PP Up: 120 X 8 = 960 (Maxed Out) 800 Sacred Fire 960 Fire Blast 1600 Ember 1800 Fire Punch 2280 Flamethrower 2400 Flame Wheel The Fire God Pokemon: Best HP: Entei's HP at 433 Best Attack: Flareon/Ho-oh's attack at 358 Best Defense: Torkoal's defense at 378 Best Speed: Rapidash's speed at 308 Best Special Attack: Moltres's special attack at 348 Best Special Defense: Ho-oh's special defense at 406 And we combine these together to make a total stat of: 2231! Now, the highest stat of a one pokemon is Ho-oh, at 2053. Also, if you look, Ho-oh made 2 appearances at the best, a tie with Flareon's attack, and the best at special defense. If you ask me, I think the best speed is kinds obvious, don't you think? Can you believe Magcargo is actually one of them? Maybe I should have made some regrets on giving it such a low rating, ain't I? Heaviest fire pokemon: Camerupt 485 pounds Tallest/Biggest fire pokemon: Ho-oh 150 inches (12 foot 6) HP Lists: 115 (433) Entei 106 (415) Ho-oh 90 (383) Arcanine / Moltres 80 (363) Blaziken 78 (359) Charizard / Typhlosion 73 (349) Ninetales 70 (343) Torkoal / Camerupt 65 (333) Rapidash / Magmar / Flareon 50 (303) Magcargo Special Attack Lists: 125 (348) Moltres 110 (318) Ho-oh / Blaziken 109 (316) Charizard / Typhlosion 105 (308) Camerupt 100 (298) Arcanine / Magmar 95 (288) Flareon 90 (278) Entei 85 (268) Torkoal 81 (260) Ninetales 80 (258) Rapidash / Magcargo A Question: What is the body temperature of Magby and Magmar? The Conclusion: So what you'd think about this mastery? Excited about the next one. Wonder what it is? The Introduction said I'd say the next element, so it wouldn't be right if I didn't say it, right? Well if you were getting that desperate, it's going to be water types. Now the thing about that is that there is a LOT of water types, so when I give out the stat rating in order, you must be pretty interested. Whoo, better not give out too much information or I won't have much to say in the introduction of my next mastery/article. I'm just as excited as you are. The Answer: 1,100 Fahrenheit and 2,200 Fahrenheit. Back. |
