| This part has to do with knowledge and education. We have simple design for the knowledge sections. For one thing, there is no music, and we hope to never have that, as it can cause a distraction in learning if you are trying to comprehend our material. We don't try to make our site fancy with colors and all, as we would like no distraction. However, the main page has quite some pictures of books and study rooms, and also bookshelves. The Story of Knowledge Site: I was a kid interested in such things when I was a little kid (fragment). When I browse through the internet to look for data that would bring easy answers, it was a bit rare. At rare times I would bump into rare books with rare information that would drive me excited (rarely). But many knowledge sites are sometimes complicated and does not make a lot of sense. Other times, the site's information is abstract. So here in Somesite Knowledge, we give exact data. We don't tell, oh sometime around 5000 B.C. that scientists estimate that these men called neanderthal invented the fire, and then you look in another textbook it'll say other cave men invented the fire, or it is not quite known that the Mayan Empire built the the very first pyramid around 8000 B.C., or 6500 B.C.etc. These kind of information are not "exact", and precise. But then you'd look at the Astronomy section and say, hey you don't have ALL the stars or constellations listed. No one really yet knows every single star, so that's where it comes to documented information. For example, there is certified of 88 constellations, so other groups of stars that may futurely be discovered are not considered. This is just like the elements. Every time a new element is discovered, it must be passed by the IUPAC, and if they pass an element with all the data, then they'll come to the textbooks, at the tables, and etc. Then that's where I'll update it. And if you think our site is not yet anywhere near to a good site with good information and stuff, that's why we offer others to submit and supply information. We have a message board, or forums, where you can copy and paste big information if that is necessary. If you would like to do something I say for a change, please submit information, even if it's just a fact, to the message board, instead of e-mailing it to me. You simply start or post a topic at the proper section of our boards, and there you can tell others what you know. Aside from that, we're still growing. Somesite Knowledge also allows people to help each other for homework, upcoming tests and exams, etc. So at the boards, feel free to ask other members for answers. At the main page of the Knowledge section, there is a sticky topic about the rules for what goes on at the Knowledge section of the boards, so read that if you want to learn more about it. We also collect facts, and most major categories have a fact section, such as Astronomy Facts and Geography Facts. Any other facts that would fall on another section, is listed in the Facts section, and has such things as U.S. President Facts or (Art and) Literature Facts. Throughout the years this site has grown larger and I still plan on continuosly updating it. If you have any other sugestions, feel free to ask.
