Pokemon Web Site (PWS) |
This section is for the thing pokemon. I have looked at many pokemon websites, but they all fall in a specific genre. Although this has to do with who I am and my personality, it is all in terms of how you view things. Some pokemon websites, like ones that have names of elements in their url, (Like Electric Pokemon Headquarters), resemble pokemon in electric pokemon. Their layout is yellow, and shows pictures of electric pokemon. Another kind of pokemon website is about a specific pokemon, like www.serebii.net. Serebii is a name of a pokemon, and the site's layout has pictures of Serebii, and the color background is also the color of Serebii. Other pokemon websites can focus on n evolution group of pokemon, like SquirtlePower, and show pictures of Squirtle and its evolution, with blue background, the color of it. To list some of their names, CaterpieForest, OddishGrove, Chikorita's Palace, etc. So I look at making a my pokemon website, and think about what layout I should have. I think about all, or none. You see, EHQ, Electric Pokemon Headquarters, is like a Lightning Enerygy Card. In T.C.G., when you play electric pokemon, I am talking about the electric energy card. Other websites representing water pokemon, are a Water Energy Card. So I though mine to be a Double Colorless Energy Card, or a Rainbow Enerygy Card. If my site represents all types of pokemon and colors and stuff, then like a Double Colorless Energy, any site can fit into mine. And as a Rainbow Energy, my site can fit into theirs, see how it all makes sense. And then you can have some control over my site, by taking polls, and best off all, MAKING a poll. Kinda like how the U.S. Congress can make bills and have others support it. For example, in the site's pokedex section, where I have pokemon pages, certain pokemon that is fully evolved, like Charizard Blastoise and Venusaur, are fully evolved knowned to date. So, I put on the part where it tells what it will evolve into: (None), meaning it has no evolution. And then let's say a smart nerd like you comes around the corner and you don't like that. You think, why put (None), when put (No Evolution)? Then other may think, how about N/A? The thing is, because this little detail is SO small, and very unimportant, then that way, the more likely it is to change. So if you see something you really want to change, make a topic like a discussion, and then support a poll with it. Questions, e-mail me, but I'd prefer you pm me. So if you hate this site, then hate it. If ya love this site, then...like it. I really shouldn't put my opinion on my opinion, but from the way things are viewed (rocket science), so you might as well pretend this site is yours.
