episode 18: the defense of the city
	a young boy named rudolph is out in a garden and he is told that his grandfathers condition is getting worse and that it won't be long until he dies. at new helic city herman is talking to his men about what is going to happen and then the ice burg opened to reveal a loading ramp where molgas, heldigunners, red horns and iron kongs started to come out. an officier is telling prozen about the progress they are making. the president of the republics is going to try and talk to prozen and prozens demands that they surrender in order for the city and the people to be safe. meanwhile at the mount osa base the republican are evacuating and the learn that crougar is still in the base. at the base fiona and moonbay are telling crougar that the are finished setting up some bombs and then crougar told them that they should leave and that he was staying there but fiona and moonbay want him to come and he refused so fiona hit him with a frying pan. outside the base marcus and his group are about to enter the base and shubaltz told him not to because it could have been a trap like at the cronos fortress but he kept going on. fiona, moonbay, and crougar are up in the air in a pteras and when they pressed a button to detonate the bombs nothing happened and moonbay comes up with a guess that it was another defective product made in the republic. crougar wants them to land so he could go into the base and detonate the bombs by himself but he got hit in the back of the head by fiona again. at new helic city the imperials and the republicans are just standing around waiting for the battle to begin. moonbay and fiona and crougar are flying over a volcano and fiona is worried because the volcano looks like it is about to erupt which gave crougar an idea to erupt the volcano. dr. d is talking to herman about the very same thing and they wonder how they are going to erupt the volcano and they come up with the idea that they can shoot missiles into the volcano to blow it up. so a group of people including dr. d got into some pteras's and flew off to make the volcano erupt with van and zeke following right behind them in the shield liger. rudolph is talking to his grandfather and his grandfather tells him what is going on and that prozen is at that very moment is trying to make a larger empire for rudolph to rule the he died.  at the volcano fiona and the other two fired some missiles in but it didn't work and they were shot down by raven and his zaber fang. raven is about to go up to finish it off when van showed up to stop him and they started to fight while the pteras's fired missiles into the volcano causing it to erupt. at the base the imperial zoids are retreating by themselves and right as they captured the base and marcus doesn't want to leave and shubaltz is urging him to get out and marcus just thinks that he is jealous and that he wants the glory for himself just as he got hit with lava and him and his zoid were destroyed. meanwhile van and raven are still fighting and raven makes it clear that he is willing to destroy his own zoid in order to defeat van. van put up his shield and raven charged and he tryird to break through the shield but his zaber fang was destroyed in the attempt but shadow managed to get raven out just in time. all around rudolph is announcing his grandfathers death and that there will be an immediate cease fire between the republic and the empire meaning that the war is finally over.
