| How to schedule an advising appointment Please contact Kim Pomierski at: ulvsocanth@yahoo.com or call (909) 593-3511, ext. 4218 to schedule an advising appointment. After an appointment has been made with your advisor, it is important to be prepared in the following manner: Make preparations in advance 1. Prior to meeting with your advisor, review your general education requrements, making note of those you have completed and those you still need to complete. 2. Examine your Major requirements. Make notes of which courses you have completed and those that you still need to take. 3. Prepare a list of questions to ask your advisor. Do not be afraid to ask questions! Your advisor wants to assist you through the process of registration and completing your degree requirements. What to bring with you Prepare a draft of your schedule and bring it with you to the appointment - you may obtain information about courses offered, the days, time, location of courses, and CRN numbers, by clicking My ULV on the ULV homepage, and then clicking Class Schedules on the menu. If you are unable to make it to your appointment, please call to inform your advisor. |
