| The battalion was engaged in the southern conflicts of Cisplatine (1825-1828) and Paraguay (1864-1870). It took part in the battles of Ituzaingo (Passo do Rosário), Avahy, Lomas Valentinas, Peribibuy and Acosta Ńu (or Campo Grande). The influence of British-style can be seen by the color of the uniform and accoutrements. | |||||||||
