The Discontent of the Rich |
||
THERE
is no truth to the assertion that the rich are less likely to steal. The rich and the poor are similarly situated when dishonest
temptations flirt in the air. While
the strength of weakness on one’s character
is greatly influenced by his upbringing, there is yet a study to show that
social status is a factor in
the formation of an individual’s moral values. Such
only suggest that while there exist different subculture within the
households of the rich and poor there is unison among them when it comes
to the promotion of uprightness. On the other hand, statistics tend to
belie that the rich and the poor are
equal in the inducement of
corruption. And the greatest miscue
is the grave disproportion in the number of the rich and the poor. Corruption
is either induced
by greed or need. Although there
could also be a circumstances when a combination of both greed
and need would result in
a venality. The
differences between a corrupt act
induced by greed and a corrupt act
induced by need . is that the former was influenced by desire while the
latter was influenced by
exigencies Email me:ulyssesus@yahoo.comLast modified :10/30/2000 |
