During the auditions you will sign a form that ROUGHLY looks like this:
1. You must not have made it to the top 3 in previous years.
2. You MUST do it wit instrumental/karaoke. You can NOT do it acapella.
3. You must do a song that has been on the rdio at any point in time. It must be a famous song.
4. You can NOT perform original work.
5. No instruments allowed.
6. You must perform a different song for the second round than the one you sang in the first round. (No repeats)
7.No contestant may sing the same song as another contestsant in the same year. Singing songs from previous years is permitted.
8. You must notify us as soon as you know that you will not be able to perform. Not doing this can make it so that in future yeas you will not be on the top ten no matter how good you are. Tewnty four horus notice is required.
9. No changes in song selection may be made within 2 days of the performance date. Song list/cd burning is finalized by then.
10. If we can not find a karaoke/instrumental version of your song, you can not sing it. We do not pay for karoake cds so if it is not found online you either need to pcik a different song or pay for the cd yourself.
11. You will not sue us or the Univeristy for any reason.
12. Rules are subject to change without notice.
