The date is December 1999 - the Umbrella club mainly consists of people from the 1980s. It seems like a good idea to get the ex wayfs from the 1990's together and to work out a way for a group of people spanning 20 years to keep in touch and enjoy the outdoors. The present idea is to split the Umbrella Club into "decades" so you can stay together with the people that you know. I think it will probably work out that the groups will naturally split around one or more people who lasted at Birmingham University for more than the three years. The 1980's group is based around Dave Vanes, Sue Prifti and Richard Mclelland who seemed to be around for most of that time. So for the time being join our club and we will see if someone emerges to act as central contact. Do you want to volunteer?
