2. Project Goal and Objectives

2.1 Goal

            The main goal of this project is to provide a solution to the online banking system using the Enterprise Java Beans.

2.2 Objectives

             To provide platform independent software.

             To provide the customers with the following

a)      Online account checking

b)      Online payments

c)      Online transfer of money

              The project helps in understanding Distributed Computing Architecture/e-Business.  EJB with it’s distributed architecture helps the implementation of the various feature of the project.

2.3 Significance  

                   This provides fast and secure transactions over the Internet. Online banking is an easy to use system with its graphical user interface.
