The purpose of this page is to introduce ciws to you. This Cyber Centre aims to inspire interest in and promote studies on issues which are of major concern to the Muslim Ummah and to proffer as a bridge between governments, business communities, independent scholars, journalists and other opinion-makers both in the Muslim world and those who are interested in the affairs of the Muslims the world over.

Towards this end ciws conducts research and publishes the findings with the view to provide an independant and impartial assessment of the economic, political and social situations obtaining in the various regions so that interested decision-makers and potential investors can be aware of the true climate before undertaking initiatives or committing resources.

This Centre was officially launched by its chief patron, the Late Moulavi M. H. Babu Sahib of Singapore, on the 18th day of June 1999.
