My special place to be by myself I breathe at ease and leave behind all that is within and clutters up my growing garden and peace of mind While down on my knees I tend this place and cleanse myself in peacefulness connecting once again with grace and filling up my emptyness I humbly tend a bit of heaven while here in my special place on Earth Collecting thoughts and dreaming dreams rearranging them for all they're worth. I sort and weed out all bad spots in my small, alloted bit of space while clearing, all my thoughts I sort I'm thankful for this special place. Away from things that flood my mind Collecting thoughts as weeds are pulled Soothing my woes while clearing space finding peace and serenity taking hold A spot unclean, to be cleared out special heed to those I must work on carefully I weed out those doubts I shuffle around until all clutter's gone Birds singing sweetly away o'er my head, as I work underneath the vast open sky a slight breeze drifts on by my flower bed I toil to remove what's sore to the eye The flowers and beauty now more easily seen as the unwanted are pulled and teared my garden and mind, more spiritually cleansed Finding fulfillment and peace as they're cleared and as I finish weeding out, inside my garden and spirit within sweat and tears soaking me through my garden has cleansed me again Then standing back and taking a breath My garden and mind now more sound breathing air that is so nicely refreshed after clearing of spirit and ground. |
